Hi Bezza bros,

I recently saw a wire dangling from under the car near the rear wheel, any idea if it's just random debris or actual useful wire?

Looks like random debris to me but seems kinda unlikely to get stuck so nicely there. haha

Attached some pics.

Guys,

Still in dilema whether to choose Saga or Bezza.
From what i read, most of u only mention about Bezza FC.

Forget about Saga being a "Proton" car and Bezza is "Perodua".
Still both forum i read, Saga and Bezza user still facing problems with their cars.

So other than FC, why should i choose Bezza?

i tested both current models.
my take is that saga is
better handling, better sound proofing
not so good, rear bench seat not wide enuf, clutch cvt rather than torque converter (deal breaker)
old chassis..

and i had enuf of proton's parts vendors.... (let them rot)
for all the door handles, jamed windows, clicky switches..

perodua, while not a true national car, has toyota parts bin to scavenge from... lol

handling not as good as saga, front seats oso not as good as saga (iirc)

but the overall package is better especially the torque converter. my opinion la... (which is like an asshole, everyone's got one) hahahah

Agree with the clutch cvt. especially on traffic jam.

Thanks!

ya man..
otherwise, i think cvt is better than a 4 speed auto..
the nissan sylphy has a cvt with torque converter and very nice to drive...
always has power (on kick down) no matter the speed..

bezza 3rd and 4th gear has a drastic 1000 rpm drop at 60 kmh that equates to less than 1.5k rpm and no power..

I haven't really faced any issues with the Bezza. Can't speak for the Saga since I don't own one but I did manage to try a rental for a couple days when I was travelling.

Bezza:
- The interior and dashboard is arguably better-looking and more modern. Plus you get a multimedia touchscreen head unit on the Advance variant which the Saga lacks.
- PVC leather seats. The Saga only has fabric IIRC.
- Like you mentioned, it has superior fuel economy and what is (probably) a more reliable and efficient engine from Toyota.
- The conventional torque converter automatic drives more predictably, so it's faster off the line.
- The boot is massive.

Saga:
- Handles much better and feels very planted. More suitable for long-distance drives. But the clutch-based CVT lag is noticeable and kinda annoying and takes some getting used to. It won't be as quick off the line as the Bezza but overall power output should be pretty similar.
- Better soundproofing - you can hear a lot of exterior noise in the Bezza.
- Rear seats are probably more comfortable than the Bezza's.

Thts the downside of bezza. I was happy to know it can mirrorlink but when really couldnot connect, kind like upset me.

One more thing, do you guys bezza owners feel there is a bit lag when switching from N to D. Feel like the gear takes few second to engage. It will be noticable when the traffic light turns to green and you switch from N to D and quickly put some gas. There will be a slight jerking.

Dont forget Proton were sold to China, If one day they decide nothing to do with any proton cars. Stop the parts production, you might in trouble.

Must let the gear engage 1st before accelerating, else u put unnecessary pressure on the gears..

Depends on what you need the car for.. if you need boot space for stocks.. then definitely the bezza but if tech wise.. new Myvi of course..

myvi wins all in terms of spec and tech. even the meter looks nicer. however the down side of it is..... the boot space is small, if you always needed some space for stocks, then myvi might be challenging. else.... myvi would be a good choice.
