I received RM 5 for AUTOPAY CR | CIMB EVA | CIMB BANK BERHAD

Yesterday I bought something using lazada app with cimb cr, the transaction just went through without otp. Is this something new?

RM0.00 CIMB: MYR xxxx was charged on your card num xxxx at LAZADA MY (ECART S MY on 06/05. Pls call the num at the back of your card for any queries.

this msg is from bank that an attempt to charge the card from merchant.

since no OTP triggered & received, bank would reject the transaction. then it will update back to Lazada.

go check Lazada Order page. sometimes the order will be canceled/rejected. if so, the amount charged will be forfeited and wont be posted into your card.


depends on your intended results whether to purchase or hope it get canceled my purchases so far with lazada, will always trigger OTP.

Yes, I plan to buy. As of now order is still showing in lazada (more than 10 hours). Will just wait for a day or two. Later double purchase more trouble.

I always get otp using this card for lazada & other online transaction. It just this time so I thought something new has been implemented.

I guess cimb failed to trigger otp in this transaction.

What means of "standing instruction"? Is it walk in to the counter n swipe by credit xard consider standing instruction?

My credit card application was rejected on the spot during
CIMB Fiesta 2016 @ Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 14-Oct-2016 To 16-Oct-2016.

Then, l applied again on 9 March 2017 via CIMB website and was approved.

Has anyone received RM200 Guardian vouchers for new card application and spend above RM1,000?

The campaign was ended 31 March 2017. Called customer service gave me the standard reply should be on the way.

Don't know. CS said submitted request but subject to approval.
I think reduce is easier than increase as increase CL requires submitting income proving documents.

Seriously? Usually people plan to increase their CL instead of decreasing it.
