Based on my humble opinion, the battery life seems reasonable. You have almost 2 days on battery power. The standby and idle do take up some battery.

Others having high SOT may be due to high usage. If you browse internet within a day, I believe you can get 10 hours SOT.

Camera is ok. Not fantastic. It is a decent camera.

camera is the only bad thing about redmi phones. That's the only reason NOT to buy this phone. So if camera is important to you..look for another brand.

Anyway just to share on my dad phone I didn't have the camera alignment problem like on top. But really no regret buying it.

If you care about the camera, you can consider Mi6.

Wrong. The only good camera in mi is mi5s.

battery is okay...maybe i got lemon unit..others got superb battery. ..others than that good. nice screen..

comparing me and your battery performance, it seems pretty fine and normal. my sot currently 3 hours used 50% (used 1 day, still going).
i think facebook is the one eating lot of battery in background if your wifi/data is on

Comparing with Redmi note 4 and Note 4X, in paper wise, Note 3 seem to be better in camera performance and processor..

Anyone used or currently both redmi note 3 and redmi note 4 or 4x can share their experience?

You trolling or what? Who told you higher megapixel count equal to better quality? You could ask uncle Google about the comparison between photo quality between these two phone. Redmi Note 4/4X is superior than Redmi Note 3.

im just downgrade from note 4 snap to redmi 4a.

rear camera, camera of 4a have better wide angle than note 4.

No trolling intended. But Note 4/4X is on SD625, Note 3 on SD650. I am really not a tech junky, that's why I brought up the concern I have before I buy Note 4.

In term of processor performance, note 4x is a downgrade from Note 3. However, it gains battery performance because snapdragon 625 is more battery friendly. Generally, users can claim to have better battery performance of note 4x compare to note 3.

Camera wise, frankly, both are just decent camera phone. If you rely on quality of photo for serious matters, don't buy this phone.

But what about gaming? Is Note 4 better than Note 3?
