I'm contemplating with these two choices; Huawei P9 lite and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4?
Which you guys would go for, and why?
Have experience in using Xiaomi but not Huawei.

QUOTE(zher4883 @ May 22 2017, 10:37 AM) I vote for Redmi Note 4 as it has better value overall. The only thing that Huawei P9 Lite wins over Redmi Note 4 is the build quality and camera performance. Redmi Note 4 pretty much is better than P9 Lite is all other way. Redmi Note 4 have two models right? 3G Ram 32GB or 4G Ram 64GB right? I saw from Lazada all mention 64gb but 3g ram. |

QUOTE(zher4883 @ May 22 2017, 10:43 AM) Redmi Note 4 Malaysia official set only comes with either 3+32GB or 4+64GB. Others are parallel imported phone which also known as AP set. Yes that's very weird to me as well when I saw the model description. Nevermind, will try and find again for it. Thanks for the headsup! EDIT: One more question. Would it make a huge difference for 3GB and 4GB ram? This post has been edited by Belphegor: May 22 2017, 11:11 AM |

Comparing with Redmi note 4 and Note 4X, in paper wise, Note 3 seem to be better in camera performance and processor.. Anyone used or currently both redmi note 3 and redmi note 4 or 4x can share their experience? This post has been edited by Belphegor: May 30 2017, 09:22 PM |

QUOTE(zher4883 @ May 31 2017, 08:14 AM) You trolling or what? Who told you higher megapixel count equal to better quality? No trolling intended. But Note 4/4X is on SD625, Note 3 on SD650. I am really not a tech junky, that's why I brought up the concern I have before I buy Note 4. |

QUOTE(jychow @ May 31 2017, 10:33 AM) In term of processor performance, note 4x is a downgrade from Note 3. However, it gains battery performance because snapdragon 625 is more battery friendly. Generally, users can claim to have better battery performance of note 4x compare to note 3. But what about gaming? Is Note 4 better than Note 3? Camera wise, frankly, both are just decent camera phone. If you rely on quality of photo for serious matters, don't buy this phone. |

Just realized that many of the people here doesn't have a proper tempered glass as their shield to protect their screen. Do we need to downgrade back to normal screen protector?

QUOTE(danieloo @ Jul 4 2017, 10:56 AM) I am considered a frequent visitor there to buy their cables and casing. But their cables for apple product very fast cannot pakai. :/QUOTE(ljf123 @ Jul 4 2017, 11:38 AM) Difficult to find tp that fully cover, either you use tp that not fully cover very less bubble on the side, or use those that comes with color edges, fully cover but middle no adhesive/not stick, thus will got halo effect/rainbow. Yeah either those or just the traditional screen protector but not tempered glass. |

Just checked with another Xiaomi shop in Pyramid. Even they do not have a proper TG to stick perfectly. Same advice; sapu some liquid and let it harden.

QUOTE(alexchew_2020 @ Jul 8 2017, 11:53 AM) 1. 3G/32GB price 7xx Last time I check, less than 830 with MUBARAK10. Now no more edi. Try to wait for while for better voucher code, else just find any voucher you can get if you are urgent to get the phone. 2. 4G/64GB price 9xx is it necessary for 4GB ram? which one is reliable... is my first android phone I am one happy Redmi Note 4 32/3 variant user. |
