Guys, how is the RN4 performance? Great? Currently I using Mi4i and plan to change phone. Is it worth to change RN4? Anyone change from Mi4i to RN4?

Going from Sd615 to sd625 is definitely an upgrade. Sd615 is among  the worst SD line ever produced.

If like that, note 4 is a bad buy?

I tot 4gb ram will help to boost the performance. No?

I've used Mi 4i before, and the phone is really bullshit lag, during hot weather, the phone only can perform around 19k ~ 22k antutu benchmark, if convert to real world usage, it's like Facebook scroll lag, whatsapp typing also lag.

Then I upgraded to Mi 4, then to RN3P 2gb SD650 version.

No doubt that the RN3P is so much faster than all of them, but for the RN4 it normal daily usage, doesn't possess any lagging issues. What I mean is for daily normal usage lah, not highly gaming.

wait next year for Snapdragon 660, see if xiaomi put this inside redmi note 5 

If you care about the camera, you can consider Mi6.

My wife RN3 cant do that & checked m2u web stated only samsung & apple can.

But Good to know that cos i always use this apps to check status of my account & it would be hassle if need to type everytime to login.

Just switched from MTK RN4 to SNAPDRAGON RN4

Battery life is so much better and the best thing is gaming doesnt lag lol

That's what I have been trying to say about MTK and SD chips but someone else keep comparing with benchmark results..MTK is 90k and SD is 70k or something.

I keep saying a phone is not only about benchmark results. You need to look at battery consumption, general usage and so on. Even lots of reviewers say SD generally feels better eventhough the benchmark is lower. I guess some people just use their phones for running benchmarks.

I agreed what you said, although I never use any phone stronger than SD650, but SD625 definitely feel sluggish on some parts like loading apps, or UI lag.

But since the price mark around RM700, I have no complaint for normal usage like FB, WhatsApp.
