QUOTE(am3 @ Apr 30 2017, 11:35 AM) Hi guys, is it worth it to change to rn4 from rn3 just for the camera? Camera more or less the same as RN3What the disadvantage of rn4 compared to rn3? I don't play games. I know rn4 Snapdragon lack WiFi AC. What else? Slower in every apps than RN3. Gaming worse than RN3 Not sure why you want to downgrade. Wallet itchy is it? I also. |

QUOTE(Lancewood @ May 24 2017, 03:44 AM) I've used high ASP and average ASP devices. Some of the expectation on this tered PRETTY FUCKING RIDICULOUS you know? IkrFuck, you expect rm1k device to perform like a rm3k device? Go fuk yourself if you're such a miser. By the way, 64gb version just dropped RM100 because nobody buying. |

QUOTE(kumhoo @ May 26 2017, 12:10 PM) Guys, how is the RN4 performance? Great? Currently I using Mi4i and plan to change phone. Is it worth to change RN4? Anyone change from Mi4i to RN4? Mi4i - A53 x 8 coresRN4 - A53 x 8 cores We can say that the performance of RN4 is bad. But power consumption is low due to smaller process node. |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ May 27 2017, 11:42 AM) Still last a day. So no worries. And performance will come in handy when needed. Battery life can be extended with power bank. Low performance of SD version cannot be changed. Still remain bad as A53 cores. |

QUOTE(00king00 @ May 27 2017, 06:32 PM) LOL but seriously, you cannot compare like this. Once SD650 with A72, you will never want to go back to A53. It's just so absurd that Xiaomi decided to downgrade Redmi Note and Mi Max series.I've used Mi 4i before, and the phone is really bullshit lag, during hot weather, the phone only can perform around 19k ~ 22k antutu benchmark, if convert to real world usage, it's like Facebook scroll lag, whatsapp typing also lag. Then I upgraded to Mi 4, then to RN3P 2gb SD650 version. No doubt that the RN3P is so much faster than all of them, but for the RN4 it normal daily usage, doesn't possess any lagging issues. What I mean is for daily normal usage lah, not highly gaming. |

QUOTE(abubin @ Jun 9 2017, 06:38 PM) That's what I have been trying to say about MTK and SD chips but someone else keep comparing with benchmark results..MTK is 90k and SD is 70k or something. Nope. SD is 60k. Get your facts right. UI lag for SD is very noticeable. MTK is way better.I keep saying a phone is not only about benchmark results. You need to look at battery consumption, general usage and so on. Even lots of reviewers say SD generally feels better eventhough the benchmark is lower. I guess some people just use their phones for running benchmarks. This post has been edited by gogo2: Jun 9 2017, 06:59 PM |

QUOTE(00king00 @ Jun 9 2017, 09:41 PM) I agreed what you said, although I never use any phone stronger than SD650, but SD625 definitely feel sluggish on some parts like loading apps, or UI lag. I understand. But since the price mark around RM700, I have no complaint for normal usage like FB, WhatsApp. |
