I owned RN4 and RN5 plus before ,

tried on QC charger work well for RN5 Plus , will show Quick charge icon...

better go for RN5 Pluss AP set RM629 3+32GB just RM50-70 different....


RN4 need charge 2 and half hours for fully charged...

is up to u bro...

for my suggestion better top up abit...

Can i know does this phone has any overheating issue when charging or when doing something else like gaming?

Also would like to know which is the best tempered glass for this device? Is MOFI tempered glass good?

The battery life of tis phone should be excellent right but how come still heard ppl complaining about battery drainage issue? Anyone here has any battery issues?

price diff less then 90 if not mistaken, get the latest one is better as i guess you going to use the phone for some times. the extra money since is not much easily you can save from others expenses right.

Battery capacity is high, no doubt, how efficient is the hardware system with the MIUI is another topic. Hardware layer + Software layer, like Capacity vs. Efficiency.

What i know and understand is there are two type for Tempered Glass (TG). A) Normal (only cover the flat screen) B) Full Covered .
I don't know how you rate TG as the best as it may hold difference features to you but i think imho most of them are nearly the same spec.
Also remember there are two version which are Snap Dragon and Mediatek where the notification hole cut off.

For me i have tried 2 type : TPU and PET screen protector
TPU : Full Covered but it did't last because the phone casing (air cushion type) basically "lift up" the edges and make it bubble.
PET : Normal and compatible with phone casing (air cushion type).

So i think if you want to use cull covered screen protector, you also must consider what type of case you want to use.

About Battery Life, personally my phone last me 16 h, around 7-8 SOT, screen brightness set to around 8% - 10%, wifi on.

About Temperature, personally around 35 C to 45 C with screen brightness set to around 8% - 10%. Did not monitor during charging though.

Hi, I am one of early user of RN4 MTK China since I bought a month after its release.
I used it as it is and never bother to change ROM and did not reset even once. So lazy to do data backup

This phone served me well during these 2 years until recently the battery drain getting worse and the % become so erratic that in can goes up and down in a single charge

Few days ago finally I decided to do complete wipe and flashing latest global ROM V9.2 while at it and I am glad that I did. Feels like owning a new phone now... I think I can keep it for at least another year if nothing broke.

This morning I received OTA V9.5.1.0, looks like a lot has been improved looking by the changenotes.

Is now a good time to buy redmi note 4 or its gonna drop price further?

Also, 5plus getting quite tempting also price maybe just 80 more than note 4.

Redmi 5 Plus is better in terms of value considering the current price.

I'd still go for Redmi Note 4 if the battery life is the main and the most important criteria.

for future proof better get redmi 5 plus.
lot of improvement over redmi note 4 ; camera, screen etc.

im owning both.

I dont think the price will drop d...RM5XX for RN4 consider value for money d
