Can you portforward with webe? Especially to those who are using webe broadband?

Are you very sure about this? Currently have offer from China Unicom, 999rmb for Honor 6S, 799rmb for Le2 & 599rmb for Gionee F103B. I think all three have 38/40.

Webe deploying band 38/40 is not a secret as they already publicly announced but most likely they will deploy only in big cities.

I have been using Webe since the beginning and I don't really see much Band 38/40 deployment until now. Care to share some locations?

You can see at webe community at Facebook... There are users that can get speed 50-80mbps at Klang valley and johor bharu

But what is the point of having such speed if WebeM throttle the speed for bandwidth hungry applications like streaming/downloading/youtubing.

Actually mine only concern about video streaming only..

Downloading from telegram or other sources seems okay... Can get around 2M/s...acceptable for me

Cannot receive bank islam tac. Maybank no problem

I have tested band 38 last time and can even view 4K programs on youtube. That's why wondering where else have band 38/40 to test.

Nearby sunway velocity, iphone 6+

Only getting 2/3 bars and slow internet speed.

But I am in Klang Valley. Good to know Webe is covering other towns with Band 38/40 though.

Is speed 40mbps consider band 38/40?
I dont think band 5 can achieved that

Yes definitely. Webe only deployed 5 MHz of band 5 LTE which is only capable of theoretical speed of 32.5Mbps. If speed higher than 30Mbps, you can be sure that it's Band 38/40.

Planning to port in back to WebeM. Last time used was Dec 2016. Nice experience in this area as well. Other telcos are not that good in this area. Do you agree?

What about other areas in Penang. Still OK?

yes, quite useful for normal tethering.

currently got free 1gb for 3 months, then this one would be payable for the price of RM15.90. also, u can rollover the unused quota before it expire, by purchasing additional mobile wifi 1gb.
