QUOTE(MGM @ May 11 2017, 12:05 PM) LAN cable to every room? No, have to do ownself. No lan cable provided, just the fiber optic pre-installed till the living room. So next time when subscribing to Unifi they just come and install BTU/ AP thats all. No need dirty drilling and cabling stuff. Just like most house nowadays also come with alarm wiring pre-installed. |

Talking abt alarm wirings, better to protect them from lightning if possible. 5 out of 6 lines of my concealed alarm wires were damaged by lightning 2 years ago. |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ May 11 2017, 10:01 AM) You are interested in free HyppTV channels (if subscribed by May17)? You can wait till one day this year TM officially offer promotional rate of RM129 (like Unifi Advance at Rm179) or 1 month free subscription! Aren't we already getting HyppTv for RM129/149?Or do you mean Unifi Lite at RM99/119 with "free" HyppTV? |

QUOTE(totally_skint @ May 11 2017, 01:45 PM) Aren't we already getting HyppTv for RM129/149? HyppTV (worth RM30) is included in RM129/149 Unifi Lite package. You can get 9 free premium channels for x months, under "Jumbo Breakout Campaign"Or do you mean Unifi Lite at RM99/119 with "free" HyppTV? https://www.tm.com.my/hypptv/Pages/promo/ju...REAKOUT-TNC.pdf |

No offense, are you speak on behalf of TM or it is purely one of your guessing game? |

QUOTE(monkeybeh @ May 11 2017, 01:50 PM) Realistically many ppl will dump 30M/rm179-199 and 100M if given a choice they could subscribe 10M with rm129. https://www.tm.com.my/AboutTM/InvestorRelat...Plan%202017.pdfSimple as that, no math needed. Look at Page 8... FY2013, 88% Unifi customers were VIP5 (RM149 or less). 1H2016, 32% were still at 5mbps and a large portion of 68% (10mbps or higher) were ex-VIP5 customer who enjoyed free upgrade to 10mbps but still paying RM149 or less. Those VIP5 or ex-VIP5 users are being converted to Unifi Lite. So don't assume many existing customers will go for downgrade from 30/50 to 10. Logically almost none of Unifi 100 users will be interested to downgrade as they can downgrade to 30/50 anytime, affordability is not an issue. Without VIP5(RM149) or Unifi Lite, a lot of existing Streamyx users at new Unifi areas (HSBB2, after 2015) reject TM's offer to upgrade to Unifi 30/50/100. QUOTE(ClarenceT @ May 11 2017, 02:43 PM) https://www.tm.com.my/AboutTM/InvestorRelat...Plan%202017.pdf Totally agree, those 100 users are not even interested in 30/50, not to say 10 on the Unifi Lite. The 129/149 Unifi lite sit between Streamyx and Unifi VIP5 and might be compelling only for users ready to fork out on that price range.Look at Page 8...
