The Unifi Lite will come with a new phone number (can't replace with old number). When u cancel Streamyx, tell TM u want to retain the old number by paying rm1 rental, but then all calls made from this old number will be chargeable, so use it to receive call only.

Is there anyone here using Unifi Lite via VDSL homeland?
Can agent check whether my 8Mbps Streamyx is using VDSL cabinet or not?
Quite curious with this coverage....

Most of the Unifi customers will be using Unifi Lite. TM outlets had discontinued selling VIP5 since 2015 and yet to officially launch (or relaunch) Unifi Lite. Only some TM authorised agents are allowed to (pre) sell at certain locations at this moment. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: May 12 2017, 01:40 PM

Unifi Lite RM129 (RM137 after +GST) doesn't come with free calls (+RM20) and HyppTV box but download at 12mbps(+/-) and upload at 6mbps(+/-); And, Streamyx 8mbps RM140 (RM149 after +GST) enjoyed free calls to TM numbers, HyppTV box, download at 10mbps(+/-) and upload at 1mbps (+/-). Since when Unifi lite become +/- 12mbps one? it should be +/- 10mbps and mean guaranteed speed @ abt 10mbps rite (-5/10% if im nt wrong)?

But there is a lot of confusion regarding the availability of the product. Given the chance, I definitely would take the Unifi Lite over streamyx or the higher speed Unifi package.
