Mine installed a year ago. Fiber straight from the FDP on pole into my BTU/ONU. I think depends on the installer
*
U mean the installer skipped the FTB n FWS? So if some high vehicle like crane entangle d overhead cable the whole setup like BTU/RG/PC will be pulled along. Sorry exaggerated.

Good for u the first person here to use Unifi Lite. While using HypeTv everywhere how much does it effect other surfing devices? Is it true that dedicated STB does not share the 10Mbps bandwidth unlike UnifiEverywhere?
*
This hypptv given is more like hypptv for streamyx user.
No dedicated port for hypptv.
I didn't use hypptv anyway but maybe it will use some bandwidth for your internet...
Since this is like streamyx, i try use speedtest for upload speed and the ping spike but when i stream, for example twitch@facebook live, ping quite ok...

Heard that nowadays TM does not use FIBER TERMINATION BOX n cable is connected directly to FIBRE WALLSOCKET inside d house, True?

I think u can use the STB for the hypptv even with Unifi Lite.
*
At my kampung in terengganu, they used fibre termination box and fibre wall socket for unifi 50mbps...

But here they directly connected to wall socket, probably copper since this is vdsl..

I doublty they used fiber too in here since this is subb area...
And the ping i got is unlike fibre unifi

And for stb unit, no you cannot use it since i tried it already...
Whenever i try to put my stb username and password, it passed but it said stb limit has been reached...
TM make your account cannot use stb because the limit for stb is 0..

Can you show us your modem stats? Eg: port speed, snr margin, attenuation and perhaps your router picture as well... smile.gif

So in your screenshot the RM1 + RM1 charges is for what? Since you dont have neither copper landline number nor Unifi number (no voice STB20).

You can retain the old number by paying RM1 monthly. But TM will of course still give you another number for Unifi. Unless you stay in condo whereby they have to terminate your existing line and put in new line for unifi.

Now if only the RM30 is optional, I will happily jump in RM99 for Unifi lite.

There is nothing in the bill that shown std 20 is there..
You can see total bill in page 1...
As we already know, first bill consist of 1 month bill + prorated use..
For my case, prorated use only 1 day..
Here is page 1 bill..

I do have phone number for this unifi lite..
As far as i know, internet from TM must come with phone number...
STD 20 is free voice call for 600 minutes charged for rm 20..
Since my account does not have std20, any usage from phone will be charged.

Oh i see.. so here is what i have understand so far:
1. Unifi can be subscribed at RM129 without STD20 (600mins voice call) (but hv to look for certain agents, tm point will nvr do it).
2. Even without STD20, you will still get a Unifi number. (for HSBB area)
3. Even without STD20, you will still get a dect phone. (for HSBB area)

Am I right?
