Just before the rise at 23000 was thinking to get some but didn't sad.gif how much do you hold?
*
Not so much. Initially bought in at 11k sats then 4 - 5 times more on the rise. I think the last buy in was 75k sats. Might buy in again once it stabilize. Now just watching at the sides.

In principle, I don't think it is useful to mention amount/value on the internet. icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm actually waiting for the next crash to buy in again. This time I'm prepared. Go up or go down is fine with me! smile.gif

You will need any singapore bank account and singapore phone number.

They will send sms during registration of your xfers.io account.

Coinbase will show xfers.io account as your singapore phone number.

I dare not play altcoin. Going with the safer route such as ETH but it's getting so high now.

Beware... Xfers has been having problems with their bank (Maybank) for more than a week now. You can't transfer money in and instant withdrawal is unavailable. Normal withdrawal takes longer than 4 days and they're not replying to support tickets. You can check out all the complaints on their Facebook page.

instead of buying expensive hardware wallet like Trezor that cost double/triple the cheapest android phone in the market, can one simply dedicate an android phone that normally put offline to store private keys?

another question: if you lost Trezor, how do you get a backup if no one else has another copy of it?
*
Was thinking the same.
An offline phone just to store Bitcoin. Still finding out if this is a good idea.
Some other high security options
1. Opendime.com
2. Run your own Bitcoin full validating node on your PC eg: http://www.uasf.co
And then transact with phone wallet.

Edit: I certainly hope with Segwit, we can have smartphones runnng full node. smile.gif

I wouldn't say pure hype. Just a lot of speculation. Here's something to read:

Great! thumbup.gif

No la, I'm just lucky to be in the FOMO and HODL group. When I started cryptos, I was thinking "What the *bleep*??!!??", altcoins just getting huge pumps and unbelievable gains! That's why I ended up with 40+ altcoins. sweat.gif I was thinking I just need one or two of them to shoot to the moon but it seems that one after the other decided to shoot to the moon. The other thing was the importance of HODL and not just be happy with two or three digit gains, instead, topping up when the coin have generated an acceptable gain. Of course, this topping up sometimes lead to buying at the top but cryptos tend to recover and shoot higher! I told myself no matter what, I'm going to HODL and not be in situation that I regretted selling my coins. Bitcoin helped in that sense every time I think about the 10,000 bitcoins for one pizza. So far, I have only sold all my shadowcoin, nautilus and another one I can't remember. Of course, it was a frenzy reading up on altcoins and spending time in the trollbox but it really helped me decide on which coins to top up. You can really get good links and news in trollbox! sweat.gif

I still firmly believe that we should HODL on to altcoins unless there are bad news. Don't be happy with small gains. Don't chase when everything is green and most importantly, don't gamble everything on a bet. If I were a high-risk investor, I would have been a multi-millionaire by now but I have no regrets that I'm not. Invest safely is my motto and I believe I will get there in the end. Cryptos is still in its infancy! thumbup.gif Of course, there's the question of people screaming "SCAM!" and cryptos in a bubble ready to burst but I tend to think we are still in the early stages.

For now, I have run out of ideas on what to do. Instead, just trading at the sides and become loan-shark. biggrin.gif

Oh.... the above are my 0.000002 BTC opinion and views only. tongue.gif

Wow! I'm thinking the electricity bill will be sky high but I think this would be even more cost-effective as compared to 2 rigs running 6x GPU.

Looks like RX470 still the GPU of choice.

I'm putting my mining plans on hold for now. See how's the performance of Vega.
