I have a question on mining. If I put $100 to mine, say ETH. And ETH is $1 now, do I get 100 ETH in one years time or do I get what's the market value of ETH in one years time?

All these talk of exchange not reliable and getting a hardware wallet made me paranoid. Trezor cost US$99. Is that the most popular choices? Do they sell in Malaysia?

I dare not play altcoin. Going with the safer route such as ETH but it's getting so high now.
