Sound still there when I turn 90 degrees right. Minor steer no sound. Now I suspect possible the Steering Rack Tie rod end the ball joint KO.

Travel high speed no sound, tested on LDP. But like at traffic light turn right 90 degrees then sometimes got sound.

KYB RS front only like 38k km, Lower arm new, stabiliser link new, front roll bar bush new. Steering rack no leak. Steering no free play. I can't think of any other joint link other then the steering tie rod end.

Something loose on your Front Left, should have been rectified/avoided after the recent suspension parts replacement job.
Stabilizer link assembly replaced?

Link changed. All changed except the steering tie rod end. Think workshop didn't check it when I change the lower arm, minor worn only now I feel. No free play or wobble. Only when turn to 90 degree corner product clunking sound so likely at almost extreme of the tie rod joint angle.

have to remove wheel and disconnect to check it properly. Torn rubber boot not confirm the joint ko could be just the boot need to be change only.

With tyres off the ground, rocking the tyre(s) forth and back with hands at:
a )3 o'clock and 9 o'clock postions, slight play or looseness means tie rod ends has problem;
b )6 o'clock and 12 o'clock position, slight play or looseness means Lower (for Avanza)/Upper Control arms ball joints has problem.

if boot cover already torn, the grease inside will be containmated, if it for me, i woul jusr replace the tie rod as a whole.

Imo, that is not necessary and does not help or improve the chances/probability of 'correctly' identifying/detecting looseness at tie rod ends, if any exists.

Shake tyre, nothing moving. Solid.

Turn tyre to side, checking all joint all ok. Boot on steering tie rod ok. But I think passenger side think my workshop changed it, looks new.

Anyway, I give up. Let the noise come more frequently then troubleshoot again. Hard to detect now. I suspect possible absorber as already 38k. The last change 40k on absorber was weaken too.

Let's hope it is not the pricier socket aka Steering Rack End Sub Assembly (PN 45503) as pictured below:

Ok update on my left side clonking sound.

Yesterday, workshop jack up both front wheel. Wiggle right side no movement. Left side very minor almost none detected. Workshop suspect either tie rod or rack end. Seems minor worn out.

Sound only can be heard when turn right over uneven road like in parking car ramp. I guess still ok to go....hahaha

... is kind of confirm and inescapable.

Question is:

Can the pricier Steering Rack End Sub-Assy (PN 45503) on the Left be salvaged and reused.......
by replacing ONLY the cheaper price Cylinder End Stopper (PN 44275) ?

IDK, and would like to know.

Note: I don't think LHS tie rod end (PN 45046 or is it PN 45047?) requires replacement, but who knows in your case.
