Thinking of signing up with unifi but seems free upgrades are no more. In this case maxis seems better because upload speeds are higher than unifi.

QUOTE(calvinlaw510 @ Mar 3 2017, 08:55 PM) So far no issue on my side Penang Sungai Nibong area with opendns. lowyat, mikrotik, facebook all show up instantly. IP 210.186. Been in ip 210.186 range for months already. Every time reconnect my seft will get this ip range. I am staying around Penang Sg Nibong too, experiencing slow connection even on tm speedtest below 10mbps. Using google dns with prefix 175 |

QUOTE(prozfromhell @ Mar 3 2017, 10:27 PM) I just checked the TM thank you surprise. You'll be getting the free upgrade. Just have to be patient and wait. You can create a service inquiry at MyTM or OCC to ask when. TM usually replies like this. And i got Your UniFi will be upgraded from February 2017 onwards Then what i should do next ar? My speed is still 32mpbs QUOTE Upon checking in our system, we are glad to inform you that you are eligible for Free Upgrade from Unifi Advance 30mbps to Unifi Advance 50mbps. Kindly be inform, customer will be upgrade by phase starting from February until June 2017. However, customer will be informed via E-mail, SMS or telephone prior to implementing the upgrade at their areas. Most important is the bold part and to get it in writing. I got the same message "Your UniFi will be upgraded from February 2017 onwards" when I checked on Feb 9. This post has been edited by soonwai: Mar 3 2017, 11:16 PM |

I think many many people will be upset and will complain. I'm sure TM will do something. Maybe it's just a tactic to scare those sitting on the fence. Let them sweat it out for a month or two and then offer the 30-50mbps at RM179 for a limited time again. Who knows? |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Mar 3 2017, 08:13 PM) QUOTE(soonwai @ Mar 3 2017, 08:35 PM) Only been on 3 websites so far, lowyat, mikrotik, facebook. All OK. IP 118.100 Which area? Is your IP changing every few mins? Maybe the PPPoE access concentrator (AC) got problem. You may see your PPPoE disconnecting and reconnecting every few mins. Like what happened to midvalley/bangsar a few days ago. My AC is BSRBGI02, I think that's Bangi. Was facing issues for 2-3 hour just now. Download speed 0.xx and upload around 10.xx . Now back to normal speed but still a bit unstable. On 50mbps.This post has been edited by SilentForever: Mar 4 2017, 12:11 AM |
