QUOTE(malleus @ Jun 26 2022, 10:11 AM) the actual conferment at the convocation is just ceremonial. As long as you have a letter from the university stating that you have fulfilled the requirements to get the degree, you're good to go. But this may depend on the employer as well. I did hear a case from somebody I know that his sister was paid like minimum wage until she actually received that piece of paper from her university. however this is the only case that I have heard of though. But i heard i cant put in a future graduation date. Since my degree conferment is august, can i still put my graduation date as July?

Instead I used the term 'completion date', where the completion date is same as on the letter that I requested from the university that states that I've completed whatever's needed to be awarded the degree.

But right now the best person to answer your question will be the current HR person that you're talking to.

Whats the general rate of a master room with attached bathroom, and a common room now? I know it depends on area but just a rough figure benchmark. My survery around 1.2-1.4k for master room with bathroom, 0.8-0.9k for common room. Correct me if i am wrong.
Thanks
