QUOTE(silverwave @ Jun 26 2022, 09:59 PM) Very high, is it some specialised role? Not really..... Just a normal engineering role involve in ic design.. ep has increased to 5k anyways so shouldnt be hard to get a tech job above 5k.

QUOTE(malleus @ Jun 26 2022, 10:11 AM) the actual conferment at the convocation is just ceremonial. As long as you have a letter from the university stating that you have fulfilled the requirements to get the degree, you're good to go. But this may depend on the employer as well. I did hear a case from somebody I know that his sister was paid like minimum wage until she actually received that piece of paper from her university. however this is the only case that I have heard of though. But i heard i cant put in a future graduation date. Since my degree conferment is august, can i still put my graduation date as July?

QUOTE(malleus @ Jul 1 2022, 10:32 PM) for this, I got no idea. but what I remember from what I did before, I didn't use the term 'graduation date'. Instead I used the term 'completion date', where the completion date is same as on the letter that I requested from the university that states that I've completed whatever's needed to be awarded the degree. Btw do u whether i can check what my hr key jn for my personal particulars like race n religion? Or can i check it in the future like in singpass or eop online?

QUOTE(Eve_1989 @ Jul 28 2022, 02:05 PM) Congrats! I have just gotten mine too, no medical check up is required surprisingly but need to sign some declaration form. Just sorted out postpaid subscription using IPA+notification letter as well, as utility bill is required for bank account opening purposes 😅 Wishing all of our work journey here well 🍀 What address did u use to apply for EP issuance? Did u signed a tenancy agreement beforehand?

QUOTE(Eve_1989 @ Jul 29 2022, 10:48 AM) Hi Jokarko, I am staying with my friend currently so I am using her address in my EP - so far there is no proof of address document required by EP/MOM except for the full address info… later today I have an appointment to “register” my EP I guess once all these are done, it is final step before they deliver the card to office next week 👌🏼 I see , have u found a place to rent yet btw? Its so expensive now and alot of places are looking for ladies only haha.
