As I said, motherboard doesn't affect performance.

Why do u recommend AMD Ryzen 5 1600 ? I understand that Core i5 7500 is much better processor....

Please advice on this....

6 core with multithreading (12 threads) vs 4 core 4 threads. Not even close.

http://www.techspot.com/review/1379-and-ryzen-5-1600x-1500x/

1600 is slightly slower than 1600X

The 1600 is slower than 7500 in gaming slightly, but you get way more multithreaded performance. You also can upgrade to 8 cores later on the same motherboard, something that you can't do with Intel platform.
AM4 boards usually come with M.2 socket for NVMe SSDs, while you can't find it in cheap Intel boards.

It will last longer than i5 for sure. It has 2 extra cores and 8 extra threads. sweat.gif

Yes, you can use the rest of the stuffs back. For your info, I also favor Intel. The data just says otherwise.

Yes, no issue. I went from Intel to AMD then come back to Intel, everything works remains working. cool2.gif . You may get the 2400MHz RAM since it costs just 10 bucks more. biggrin.gif For graphic card, get Sapphire R5 230. smile.gif

Hey guys, I was just wondering about the minimal setup required to run AAA titles on the Predator X34A as well as having it VR ready. I guess SSD shouldn't be included at the moment since it's upgradeable in the future. I just need the rig suggestions. If you still need my budget, it's about 10k. Lesser the better of course, since I can spend it elsewhere.

Thank you so much!

VR runs on extremely high resolution, so you will need a powerful GPU to run that. mega_shok.gif

AMD Ryzen 5 1600X RM1199
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo RM109
ASRock X370 Killer SLI RM709
Kingston Value 16GB DDR4 RM549
MSI GTX1080 Ti 1GB GDDR5 Founders Edition RM3699
WD Blue 1TB RM219
Silverstone Strider Gold 750W PSU RM559
Casing RM300

Total : RM7343

If you feel the GPU performance is lacking, you can add another GTX1080 Ti to SLI. smile.gif

I see. Looks good, will definitely be looking for these things. Would I have to upgrade the PSU if I wanted to add another 1080 and some SSD storage?
