QUOTE(terence_nwb @ May 8 2017, 09:11 AM) For workstation rig, Ryzen is more preferred thanks to its higher core count. AMD Ryzen 5 1600 - RM 1039 Asus Prime A320M-K - RM 303 G.SKill Aegis 16GB (8GB x 2) DDR4 2400MHz RAM - RM 570 Palit GTX1050 2GB GDDR5 StormX - RM 565 WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 219 FSP Hexa+ 450W - RM 185 Tecware Edge - RM 149 Total: RM 3030 (ETECH price inclusive of GST) Included a discrete GPU so you can enable CUDA in AutoCAD as hardware accelerator. Thanks for replying. Is the performance of ryzen 1600 on par with i7? Cos im can stretch my budget for 1700, if d performance difference is significant

QUOTE(kingkingyyk @ May 8 2017, 06:11 PM) 1600 loses i7 7700 in gaming slightly, but you gain extra cores for your background tasks. 1700 has extra 2 cores, that is even faster in multithreaded applications. Alright. Thanks!! 😄
