Hi guys,
I just got myself a ultrawide 34inch monitor 4k resolution. Unfortunately, I'm currently in the US and I do not have a rig with me so the monitor is basically connected to my old laptop. I'm currently considering building a new rig but would like to hear some recommendations from the pros here regarding the newer 9th gen CPU and next gen GPU. Would it be worth the wait ? If I'm not waiting for the new releases, please recommend me a complete system. My budget is probably around 1-2k USD. The rig is mainly for games, smaller rig casing is preferred but I do not want to compromise airflow/cooling, prefer casing with good/easy cable management, hiding most of the cables, AIO cooler > air cooling, need either an integrated or PCI-E wifi adaptor (my room has suboptimal wifi signal - there's an ethernet port in case I need it, but there's extra charges and I need to call the technician from the internet provider to activate those ports). QUOTE(joscmh90 @ Aug 8 2018, 06:00 PM) Hi guys, Also, GTX 1080 like Ti is bare minimum for 4k. I'm expecting GTX 1170/2070 or GTX 1180/2080 for recommended 4k requirements. Wait for reviews and you can confirm it.I just got myself a ultrawide 34inch monitor 4k resolution. QUOTE(xiaomifeng @ Aug 9 2018, 02:33 PM) thanks for the recommendation, do you have other cases that don't have a transparent side that you can recommend? Thats easy. Tecware Core for RM89. Better looking ones like Corsair Carbide Air 240, Obsidian 250D, Fractal Design Define Mini C, Meshify Mini C are more expensive. This post has been edited by TristanX: Aug 9 2018, 02:41 PM |

Hi guys,
I would like to upgrade my current PC which is more than 6 years old. One of the requirements is to play Monster Hunter World, not necessarily on high settings. Should I go with this rig by Nvidia? LINK |
