QUOTE(TristanX @ Jul 18 2018, 03:27 PM) All of them simillar spec. All got low grade PSU and SSD too. Just pick the cheapest. Unless you want some quality. Switch the PSU to Super Flower Leadex 550W+ or Corsair TX 650M. For the SSD, never a fan of "just faster than hard disk" SSDs. Look for Crucial MX500 for low budget, Samsung 860 or 970 Pro if u wanna go nuts. Thabks for the comment! For psu, how bout Corsair VS550? or Silverstone strider 600? SSD wise, does SanDisk plus / WD Green do any better than my current spec? How bout other specs? Like the Mobo, ram, gpu that I chose.

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Jul 19 2018, 12:24 AM) You could get a Asus Dual GTX 1060 6GB for RM1,249. That will outperform the both the both you have chosen. Is it at the same level as Galax brand ? That cost 1199

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Jul 26 2018, 01:44 PM) It depends on the games you play but generally nope it is not overkill if you’re planning to go on ultra settings. Does it means despite I'm playing on low setting or ultra setting, my FPS will always be at 60fps?

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Jul 27 2018, 02:10 PM) I've never personally built with them before cause they're far away from me but yes they are very well known as well. Purchased quite a few items from them before in Lelong and they are as friendly. Thanks bro. Then it should be fine.

Hi guys. Would appreciate if you guys could recommend which is better for future proof since I don't plan to upgrade any parts in coming years (probably in another 3 years?)
Usage: basically gaming / browsing / streaming
Build 1: (INTEL) • CPU : INTEL CORE I5-8400 – RM729 • MOBO : GIGABYTE GA-H310M-S2 - RM235 • RAM : PATRIOT Viper Elite (1x8GB) D4-2666-C16 Memory Heatsink – RM339 • GPU : ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1070 Mini # 1708 MHz | 8G/D5 – RM1695 • PSU : TT TOUGHPOWER GX1 600W – RM309 • Case : TT VERSA H17 – RM185 • SSD : PATRIOT BURST 240GB SSD / 3D NAND – RM225 • HDD : WESTERN DIGITAL Blue 3.5' 1TB 7200RPM - RM169
TOTAL = RM3886
Build 2: (AMD) • CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 2600X – RM925 • MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-AB350M GAMING 3 – RM349 • RAM: G.SKILL FORTIS 8GB DDR4-2400 C15 Single Memory # Optimize for Ryzen – RM339 • GPU: ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1070 Mini # 1708 MHz | 8G/D5 - RM1695 • PSU: TT TOUGHPOWER GX1 600W - RM309 • Case: TECWARE NEXUS M – RM139 • SSD: PATRIOT BURST 240GB SSD / 3D NAND - RM225 • HDD: TOSHIBA 3.5' 1TB 7200RPM – RM165 TOTAL = RM4,146
Thanks guys!

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Jul 28 2018, 10:39 AM) When you say streaming, like streaming your game plays or YouTube kind of streaming? If streaming game plays then the Ryzen build would be a better choice as there’s 6C/12T. But if just YouTube kind of streaming then I’d say Intel cause Intel still gives better gaming performance. And perhaps, you could consider topping up 300 to get a 1070Ti. Mini cards are known to run really hot unless you have really great airflow Just normal YouTube streaming Kristal. Not streaming my game. Hmmm I wish I have that budget. Btw does the ram speed affects performance? Like what's the optimised ram speed for Ryzen 2600x?

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Jul 28 2018, 03:06 PM) For intel it won’t affect much. Moreover, intel’s B/H mobos only support up 2666mhz. As for Ryzen, they favour higher ram speed. In that case, I’d go with the Intel build. Thanks for the suggestion! Guess I'll just stick to the previous intel build!

QUOTE(TristanX @ Aug 9 2018, 11:35 AM) No issue for Pro. I've tried numerous times on multiple PCs. But I checked online for enterprise evaluation. I'm unsure what is it about. Seems complicated instead of just inserting the product key
