Looking to freshen up my current build..

[Budget] - Max RM 7,000

[Purpose] - Gaming

[Hardwares that will be re-use] - Plextor 128GB, WD 1TB Blue, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speaker

[Monitor resolution] - 1440p GSYNC

[Games & softwares that use frequently] - Gaming purpose, watching movies

[Personal preferences]:
- to upgrade to single 1080ti (currently using 980ti)
- to upgrade PSU to full modular to better organize the unneeded power cables (currently using corsair GS600)
- to upgrade processor to something better (currently using i5-4690)
- to change mobo as well (currently using MSI B85M-G43)
- to change the casing with good cable management and airflow/cooling (currently using corsair 600T)
- to upgrade RAM to 16GB (currently using 2x4GB Kingston value ram)
- i don't do any overclocking
- i don't need any RGB or bling-bling stuff. the rig will be at the bottom of the table. people will only see the front side of the casing

[Monitor resolution] None. Need a monitor. Please do recommend any good/decent brands are there now. probably prefer to get 27"

[Games & softwares that use frequently] Dota2 (can run highest settings with good FPS). wish to run games like PUBG and high graphic RPGs. Not necessary to run in ultra setting. Medium to High.

[Personal preferences]
1. No need RBG
2. Casing no need so fancy.

Hello guys, I am in a dilemma on choosing between the two Intel H370 boards, to pair with an Intel i5-8400 CPU:
ASUS TUF H370 PRO GAMING and Gigabyte H370 AORUS GAMING 3

Can anyone please give some recommendations or comments, especially in terms like durability, BIOS usability and features?

Should be able to run Dota2 on Max settings with no issues but on other games like PUBG you might need to dial down the graphics settings to get good frame rates.
For monitor, there's the Acer ED273a for around RM900+. It's not a competitive monitor but it has VA-panels, 144hz and 4ms response time.

All Intel K CPUs needs cooler. Ignore any 3GB or less cards as well.

How about this? Changed to mATX and reduced RAM, still enough to get the monitor within 5k.

for GPUs mentioned, i assume the higher price have better performance?
locked processors, u meant not going overclock?
the SSD prices differed quite alot, is because of the size?

I wouldnt' mind excluding monitor price from the rm4k-5k range. The price range is just my rough guessing price to get the performance that i want. Im okay to top up abit for smooth running high FPS on Dota2, CSGO, PathofExile, High settings(no need ultra) on high-end games (imo Witcher 3 maybe? God of War if it ever comes out on PC?)
