Thanks for the recommendation.

Don't need the HDD because I don't need it and I don't think I need that much storage for SSD as I will only be installing some antivirus softwares and trading software so 120/ 128gb will be enough I think.

What if I want to add another one or two monitors later? What do I need to add?

Also, I see that you have opted Samsung SSD here, is this brand better compare to brands like sandisk, WD and crucial?

I have only been started reading about these stuffs yesterday so I would be glad to have your input to save me some reading time.

Thanks again.

Pricing is too close. Samsung is the best for the budget. Thats up to you. Avoid Kingston UV400, WD Green and Sandisk SSD Plus. They are at the bottom tier performance. If you want even faster, next level is around RM200 more money.

If you want more connectivity like USB ports or SATA ports, you might wanna buy better chipsets like B250 or H270. It will cost more though. Recommended one on the list is H110 chipset.

Dear sifu,

need help to configure a gaming rig for my son, just rig without monitor & mouse & key board.

Budget: 3k+
Gaming : Stream game ie CSGold, lol, dota, fallout 4...

I'm looking at Ryzen 3 1200 (with overclock) or 1300 with GTX1060 but seen may be out of reach due to recent price hike due to cypto mining... is there others alternative?

others question... is ryzen overclock to 3.7-3.8 good for gaming.. i like the extra juice that can squeeze from the ryzen processes + i5 is not value for money....

What is your recommendation for rig that can be used for next 3 years for gaming...

Ryzen 3 will be more future proof. 4 cores and AMD still maintains same socket until at least 2020. On the other hand, Intel requires new motherboard for 6 core CPUs.

Gigabyte B350N Gaming WIFI is RM549.

ML03B is quite big, 15 liters in size

Change to these parts

Gigabyte B350N Gaming WIFI - 549
Silverstone SFX 450W Bronze - 299
Silverstone ML05B, ML06B or ML09B, SG05B-LITE, SG06-LITE, SG13B (ATX PSU) - check with seller

ML05, 06 and 09 is 7 liters. SG05 and 13 is around 11 liters. I think currently only ML08B, RVZ01 and RVZ02 got stock. Maybe SG13 got stock too.

Well, you got overpriced GPU and crap power supply. Zotac GTX 1070 Mini is just RM200 more money. I'll assume any brand that doesn't send or no longer sends their product for review with history of bad stays bad.

I saw your post on someone mentioned to go to C Zone but the thing is warranty.

IdealTech got better service and also they are running offer for Win 10 OEM Home Edition at RM200+

So, thinking of getting a GPU and playe for few years, then changed.

Thats up to you. You are already paying their service from rather high price on certain parts. Yeah, Windows can be found for very cheap if you know how.

ITX is usually more expensive. If you wanna keep using your old PSU, look for Silverstone Sugo SG13 case.

Hi. Need opinion between this 2 PSU :

Evga G3 650W
Superflower Gold 650W

Both almost similar price. Which one is better option.
Looking to get PSU for these spec :

G4560
2 x 1tb HDD
1 x SSD
GTX 1050Ti

Is that PSU too much for that spec or should just get any other lower version or cheaper version. Thanks.

Windows 10 Pro digital license is way cheaper, below RM100. Can buy them from online stores.
