Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future. If calculating 11/10 to 17/10 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.19 and RM3.49 respectively (±1 sen). Thus, I estimate that RON97 would remain the same as last week at RM3.95 (±1 sen). Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source ![]() Lone Wolf X, -PuPu^ZaPruD3r-, and 1 other liked this post

I think there might not be any changes to fuel prices before the next cabinet takes office.

Fully support this Really interesting to see how they are going to do the "targeted subsidy" - logistical cost, e-hailing, p-hailing, food delivery cost will jump sky high immediately once it start to implement. Inflation will jump also.![]() Not easy to come out from the ron95 subsidy after so long enjoying cheap fuel. Hopefully, traffic jam on the road will be reduced slightly if targeted subsidy is on. isr25 liked this post

QUOTE(isr25 @ Dec 7 2022, 05:45 PM) Has nothing to do with new government as it’s following the market fuel price. Less uncertainties, since there is a gov in place at least. But the improving exchange rate does contribute to this ![]() Rather than just a hung parliament, no cabinet. Still waiting for deputy ministers post announcement. I think once all post GE15 dusts clears off, we will get better exchange rates. Unless US FED go nuts and USD go sky high again. |
