Happy Thaipusam to all Indian LYN users & to those celebrating it!
Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future. If calculating 31/1 to 6/2 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.00 and RM3.30 respectively (±1 sen). Thus, I estimate that RON97 would remain the same as last week at RM3.35 (±1 sen). Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source 2nd Note: Targeted subsidies are on the menu, but it wouldn't be implemented anytime soon. News sources say that the agencies should come up with a proposal within 2 weeks. 3rd Note: Proposed measures has been recommended and tabled to Cabinet, but unsure what is the status now. 4th Note: Adjustment on fuel subsidy likely on the cards in revised Budget 2023. ![]() |

You're right... No changes in RON 97 price.. Is this the lowest price the government can give for RON 97 ?

QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Feb 8 2023, 08:13 PM) You're right... No changes in RON 97 price.. Is this the lowest price the government can give for RON 97 ? Not sure, price should've gone down the previous 2 weeks, but they didn't. Probably they don't want to change prices due to petrol dealers making noise or unscrupulous businesses rising up prices due to "increasing fuel price". -PuPu^ZaPruD3r- liked this post

Sorry - am travelling this week for work so couldn't find time to update. Most likely will have no changes as the AIP fuel price is flat compared to last week.
