Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 21/11 to 27/11 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.36, and RON97 should be around RM2.66.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate is RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 maintain at RM2.66 (±1 sen).

Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 28/11 to 4/12 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.33, and RON97 should be around RM2.63.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate is RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 will go down by 3 sen to RM2.63 (±1 sen).

Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 5/12 to 11/12 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.34, and RON97 should be around RM2.64.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate is RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 maintain at RM2.64 (±1 sen).

Just curious after looking your statement... You guys using RON97 for power? For detonation reduction? Or environment conscious wanna reduce the sulphur fumes?
If RON95 Euro4M same power as current, still causing detonation (on my gen2 only RON100 silence the engine knocking, yes we knew Campro's trademark which current Iriz also experiencing), will you guys switch to RON95 Euro4M?

Must be something wrong with your engine if you must use 100 to avoid detonation! Or it shows how incompetent Proton is! (I suspect a bit of both actually)

I use RON97 mainly because of the high sulfur in RON95 which is bad for engine etc, partly for environment. Just sometimes feel more responsive & smoother with RON97. Now with Euro 4 RON95, i dont mind save some $$. Anyway i dont drive high performance car. just a small 1.5 turbo that can even use RON 92. Campro need RON100?? doh.gif

My car officially stated supported RON97 and above, must be because that time our country still don't have RON95.
After RON95 released factory came out statement mentioning RON95 also can use I think. But if you notice new Iriz/Persona pass by, most likely you can hear the metallic engine knocking noise like iswara manual dragging high gear on lower RPM.
I only experimented once pumped in RON100 full tank, totally no more knocking noise.

U can go back to get them re-tune... if still under warranty...or outside if without...
but expect poorer response after that...
To me it will means RON95-97 not much diff (30c) after that...if you can afford...just stick with 97...

Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 12/12 to 18/12 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.27, and RON97 should be around RM2.57.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate is RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 will go down by 7 sen to RM2.57 (±1 sen).

On another note, this may be the last RON95/97 price estimation for 2019 & also for early Jan 2020. This is because the graph used is by the Australian Institute of Petroleum, and judging from past experience, they generally have a long leave for Christmas and New Year. I will do the estimation again once they are back from their holidays.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas & a happy new year!
