Won't be able to update the final price until evening tomorrow due to travelling. However, RON97 is definitely coming down this coming Saturday - as of yesterday, the estimated price would be RM2.61/l, down by 7 sen.

I would also not be able to update the spreadsheet until Thursday morning next week. Happy Deepavali to all our Indian friends smile.gif

Thanks TS for the early update as usual~

Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 17/10 to 23/10 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.30, and RON97 should be around RM2.60.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate is RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 price go down by 8 sen to RM2.60 (±1 sen).

Just a friendly reminder, I would not be updating the table until 31/10. Have a great week ahead everybody!

Cleaner. Less sulphur. Better for your catalytic converter.

Can't wait for electric vehicle to become mainstream like in Shanghai. Don't need to worry about your catalytic converter and petrol price for that matter.

Eyeballing the figures, looks like RON97 is coming down by 4-5 sen. Will give a more close estimate tomorrow.

Btw, want to ask, last few years, floating price between ron 95 and ron 97 is always 30 cent.

So, start next year january, if ron 95 follow floating mechanism, it should be always different 30 cent or not. Or higher different?

If difference is 30cents, I tot want to feed my 2.4 all the time with 97. Since full tank 60 litr different is only rm18 ringgit

And 97 can go a bit far. So different might be less than rm18 ringgit. And got much lighter throttle also.

Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 23/10 to 30/10 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.26, and RON97 should be around RM2.56.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate is RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 price go down by 3 sen to RM2.56 (±1 sen).
