Honestly never used em.. Already suggested one to you and how to go about it.. and now Muncheno has reminded me as to why we avoid such discussion here. Just pull the trigger on any. Don't like or it goes down, move on to another service. Don't want to risk your money? Stay with free or sub to Asterruk.. Sure no cons or losses there.

MYIPTV got one month subscription, you can try it before taking the full yearly subscription. Easy to jump ship

Stay stock. You don't need to root it to install any other apps.

If yours is still on the older unlockable firmware.. Make sure to disable it's update feature as the latest firmware is quite difficult to enable additional apps installation.

That depends on your device's firmware and the remote. Though it's an uncommon request because unlike a phone where one may need to run and maintain multiple apps all at once... On a TV Box, you should be focused on one.. App in foreground. You could try searching the Google Play Store for an app that might do it. Personally, I have the main apps on the home screen. So pressing Home and selecting the app, does the switching.

What device are you using? Surely it came with an App Switcher or Killer.

On mine, using the Neo A2 Lite airmouse, there is a dedicated button to easily pull up the recent apps menu. I'm assuming you aren't using a remote with similar function.. Nevertheless, for the HiMedia Q10 Pro, there should be a taskbar at the bottom you can call up (or drag) that contains a recent apps button...perhaps AVFAN would like to offer a quick response, especially as he owns the device and quite familiar with its operations.

1. Task killer on home page would do the job

2. Otherwise, use an airmouse, or a mouse, and click and drag the screen up (e.g. at home screen) and a black task bar will appear at the bottom. Click on the rectangular button there, and recent app window(s) will appear. Close your app from there

It is normally not necessary to kill a previously started program in Android. The Android OS will go an kill it for you if it runs out of resources.
