Do i need 4K AVR too to get 4K content from the box to 4K TV? or 4K Box tp 4K TV ARC to AVR?

Nope, you don't need a 4K AVR to get 4K content on the box or tv.. 4K refers to visual resolution and not sound. There are various sound formats. If you mainly watch stereo content, you don't really need an AVR or decent external sound system.. Just connecting the box directly via HDMI to the TV will do. But if you mainly watch FHD/UHD content with HD Audio such as DTS HD-MA, Dolby Atmos, etc.. Have the budget and want the superior benefits of such audio? Sure, get a decent AVR with speakers or at minimum a Home Theater system compatible with your TV's HDMI-ARC system/with HDMI inputs.

Edit: Forgot to recommend a box. Based on the above, your requirements and budget.. I advise you stretch a bit and get the Minix Neo U9-H + Neo A3 Airmouse. Especially if you intend to use Kodi. The Minix Neo U1 is below your budget and probably ships with the older Minix Neo A2 Lite airmouse. It also suits your requirements. However, for future-proof purposes and better performance, best to get the latest model.

There's a much cheaper box, I think <RM300 or so.. Can't remember the model but it's not Minix or HiMedia.. And it supports audio passthrough on some level as reported by a member earlier. But not as stable as Minix/HiMedia devices. You could look into that as well.

Typically, if you have to ask then you probably don't need it. Audio passthrough is essentially the box or software running does not process the audio, but simply passes it untouched to the connected device to handle the processing and output via speakers. Can be a compatible TV or HT or AVR, etc. Useful for lossless HD Audio.

HD audio passthrough is needed if you have the more expensive audio equipment which can handle decoding of compressed audio.

If you don't have such equipment, you can still use host based decoding of compressed audio stream. With proper codec on the host, one still able to hear audio when playing video with compressed audio.

So I do not need HD audio passthrough, What is your recommendation on Tv box for my requirements as follows:

My Tv is a Full HD LED TV (is a basic Tv, not 4k, not smart Tv)
Resolutions is (1,920 x 1,080)
Using : Wifi
Budget < RM500
Need a Tv Box mostly for movie, documentary, and China movie series programmes (Not into games or sport).

You only have a basic requirement. Your present need can be met with an entry level box. The only thing you have to watch out is some boxes have poor wifi connection quality. If your router is far away, then you really have find something which is proven in its wifi connection quality.

For budget under $500 there's plenty, refer to page 1. But as a guide, but something with at least 2gb/16gb S905x, Android 6 above config boxes

Page one is very comprehensive and by right, any newbie who sits down and reads it, does a little search & read, surely upgraded to intermediate level and should have at least 2 boxes to choose from. Kodi is not for everyone. (Still learning)

These days I only use Kodi for YouTube. Can skip ads with Kodi YouTube.
The rest of the add-ons for TVB and English shows can use standalone APK.
