So many ppl got hamsters nowadays haha... im planning to breed WW again, anyone interested? My fat boy Racci's 1 yr 5 months old. Still that lazy as before T_T

yup..actually the pink ziggurat is the hamster's toilet..but now..my hamster did not use it as a toliet but as her sleeping spot pulak..actually i did pun some sand bath inside it and my hamster will golek2 on the sand bath before start sleeping like the pic..hah..mujur the sand bath smell like baby powder..so she smell like baby..hikhik

last nite..my bf give me the big bubuye back because the big bubuye don't want to eat or play..just sit there and sleep..have to suap then baru makan..haiyaa..when i enter my room..suddenly the big bubuye act strange..not strange actually..he start to run and run..and run on the wheel then climb the tunnels then jump then so on..like a crazy hamster..
i am in a big shock to find that the small bubuye oso start to act strange..since she's giving birth..she only can walk to the food and drink some water..still cannot run on the wheel(i really miss that sound)..haiyaa..suddenly..she seam like trying to find her big bubuye..u know what she did..she climb the cage like a spider man pulak..sedar-sedar oredy on the top and as usual..she fell down..haiya..hit da baby lor.. do u think the baby survive?i did try to peep this morning..worry laaa..then lega to hear the babies cry..fuhh i am hoping that all the baby survive even been hit by the mama..haiyaa..so i put the big bubuye outside..and the mama turn back to become like a hamster in pantang..haiyaa

p/s: i think i saw the babies start to have some fur laa..i can see the black part only ..hee

ur baby hamster the nest is not in the house??... its in somewhere exposed??...

last time when my syrian hamster gave birth, i didnt separate the daddy away from the cage... at first i thought that was ok because it seems that the daddy got take care of the baby as well... but somehow during the nights, the daddy got excited and climb the cage like monkey.... he accidently fell onto the mommy and the pups.... the mommy got angry and attacked the daddy.... the daddy den vr innocently didnt know anything, kena attacked by the mommy.... haha..

this happened a few times before i knew have to separate them after birth....

the baby currently under the wheel where papa usually sleep before this..not really under the wheel laa..beside the wheel..the papa sleeping spot

so..mama did climb the cage ..mebi she can smell the papa ..so she start searching for papa but actually papa is in the other cage..i oredy seperate them but the still on the same room(my room)...so..ur babies survive?i hope mine oso survive..i can hear they crying this mornin

if not separate daddy from mommy after birth..
then after 2- 3 weeks later, the mommy will give birth again..

dun worry, its ok for the mama for be spider ham, haha.......

ya LO..she seam quite cute to be spider hamster..but not cute lar when fall on her own babies..so kesian laa the babies..i hope all of them ok ...

the record that i noted is 2 and half round.. haha..

now, she dont have any chance to do like that..
because.. i no more use cage.. all changed to tank..

wah .. I put my syrians in toyogo containers one ma.. Then last nite i went to bath and when i opened the door, I saw one big brown thing running back and forth on the floormat at the doorstep - freaked me out!! I thot it was some sort BIG MOUSE!! And I looked clearly, it was my golden syrian - . I wonder how she managed to jump out from the high walls of toyogo . She was running away when she knew I was goin to catch her and she was FAST too

i also had the experience like you..
before that.. i put my friend's syrian in the same toyogo box.. nothing happened.. more than two weeks they stay there..

but, last week.. i put my syrian at that toyoga box..
no more than 2 hours.. one of them ran away from that box..
then, i put him back into the toyogo box..
when i sleep, my roomate woke up me, and told me that both my syrian escaped (somewhere in his room)..

so, i put them back to their prev tank..

put in toyogo box??so u did not tutup laa the cover?

i went to petshop recently and had a look few tanks of hamster they have and noticed these 2 chubby fella in the tank.when they sleep like a ball i actually thought there were 2 ! they are so fat, notice the size and the tube opening almost the same!

Today my baby Bear RC went to new home... sob... will miss her cute face.

Now left with so many colourful RC hammies... so cute.

that was my hammy's first batch... 4 of them, all survived...
there was once when the mommy was fighting with the daddy, she accidently kicked a baby pup out of the nest... after the fight, she returned to the nest, didnt realise one of her pups were gone... so i have to push the baby pup back to the nest myself.... that was when the pups were jz 2 or 3 days old... lucky she didnt kill the pup....

syrians are escape artist...

but mine are sleeping artist....

haiyaa..so lucky laa. .mebi the mama cannot differentiate between ur bau and their bau..mebi...

dunno la... on the first day, i try lure the mama out from her nest with kuaci... wanna see got how many pups ma... after the mama came out, papa went in and cover the nest with cloth (i put inside kasi da mama)....
