I m waiting for my new nissan GL to arrive but I didn't get the solar gard tint as package. After going through this forum from page 120, I prefer HO, 3M and Lluma, VKool elite is out of my budget (1.5k to 2k).

I need good heat rejection as I m travelling in city most of the time and GL air cond ventilation is not strong enough. I also need smart tag, GPS and remote compatible and also comply with JPJ.

Pls Quote me the price.

if u want that...just ask them how long that is needed for them to tint whole car
if they say 1-2 hour walk away...just walk away

In these thread, I can see window film in market price is from RM160 to RM1k-RM2k. Most people just care about the price/promotion more than the product quality they taking. It is because nobody know how to identified one brand product quality, except just believing the specification stated in the brochure. Accurate or not accurate not nobody care about it.

More interesting issue is, those low grade film is performance good in the 1st. maybe 2nd year, so it is more difficult to justified the product quality by consumer.

Bullshit.... I just done elite 70 on windscreen due to previous x75 crack windscreen. Gps signal is suck on vkool. Done it at vkool jb branch.... Dunno what kind of vkool paper they give. Eventually hv to cut a rectangle size on the receiver to solve the issue. Does vkool hv lot of old stock and counterfeit paper? How to verify a genuine vkool tint? Still can feel some skin burning feeling when driving direct under sunlight.... A bit dissapointed

just done my car check at puspakom, the visibility for each windows
front - 83%
rear - 82%
side right - 81%
side left - 80%

so if I install Huper Optik C40 which has 40% VLT, the actual VLT will be much lower right ? lower then 40% ?

According to your spec.
After you apply C40 for Side window will be roughly 20%-25% for their machine test.

VK Elite for your model is about RM 2000 - 2500 +++
I don't think you cant get HO or 3M with good rejection with budget below 1.5k

my windows dont have any tint on them, I think the glasses themselves have some colors. So if I apply C40, will it look too dark that attract jpj/police attention ? still cover jpj right ? if I apply

hi all.. do u know what is the price for Vkool 4mil and 8mil? my SA told me that if I wanted to tint my CX5 i will need to add another RM1k for 4mil and RM1.1k for 8mil
