sometime u dn't see the % only...need to see the price also
that price...you're buying plastic...not tint
a good one would cost over 1K...a really good one would be around 2k

recently my friends did whole car tint in raytech...not sure which raytech though
she said RM1500 and since hes a girl, didn't do alot of research be4 deciding
and she is very dissapointed with the tint done...the rear mirror is glaring and when she go back and ask...
they answered her this is normal for toyota cars...i was like "what?" when i heard that excuse
i also ask how long it take for them to install...she say around 2hr...thn at that point, i'm surely is poor workmanship

VLT must be 70% and above is legal

my friend have bad experience with raytech
paid RM1.4k if not wrong to do tinting on her vios
bad quality and when go back to ask them to fix it for her
somemore the guy in the shop say it's normal for toyota cars...what a joke

it was due to the installation itself...not so sure which branch she went...all i know is in klang
from all these years...i can assure that the tint itself sure no problem...those bubble and colour are all cause by poor workmanship...any brand at all..the tint itself no problem one
and i asked her how long did it take for them to finish....she said around an hour, thn i said theres your answer/problem

just now went to a tint shop and ask, the shop carries multi-brand
unfortunately, he only have 1 3M tint which is C70
i asked him if use that tint whole car (compact car like myvi) how much?
he said RM2k...reasonable
of course my budget wasn't that high
thn i try mix it up
front windscreen use 3M C70 + pentagon BL60 on other windows
he quote me RM1100
the price ok?
he said the windscreen use 3M already RM700

well..the pentagon..i saw quite alot of ppl install here in sabah
the BL60 that i was looking..the IRR% is 65 compared to its lower bro which is 55% only(and darker/VLT lower)
i ask if mix how much
for the 55% one with C70 is RM1k
while the 65% one with C70 is RM1.1k(can nego if installation is easy)

thats very cheap IMO...more to too cheap to believe

the irr% is what makes the different
when i saw u state "darkest" already prove u know nothing abt tint
darker doesn't mean its going to filter better
a good tint can be good in filter UVR and IRR while maintain good VLT(mean not that dark)
those darkest one most probably the lowest specs one....the higher spec tint usually have very high IRR% while the VLT is high at the same time

thats becuz you're stating something misleading
difference is surely got difference
but if both IRR are the same...of course it feels the same
the only difference between the price is workmanship, quality of the tint and everything covered under it
and in tint..workmanship is very important
workmanship isn't good, bubbles will come out, will have "rainbow effect"...quality of the tint also will affect it
and thing covered that "expensive price" are like JPJ summon, long warranty...etc etc
i myself also have tint that are RM450 as well in 1 car...no where as good as those 1k++ but mine is lucky since the workmanship is very good

want to ask who install huper optik here
whats the price/estimated price for whole car
car is mitsu mirage...somewhat like myvi

yes...i'm just asking price so dn't get cheated by dealers here
becuz theres a RM500 discount...i surely know some of them will jack up the price for the discount

not alot of ppl here carry HO or V-kool
3M also very less already...last time got quite a few thn now they even change already to cheaper tint like pentagon tint and sahara-x

last time got quite a few place carry 3M and HO
now i saw 1 of those place...the sifu retired(very good workmanship)...the workshop cut away the tint section since he retired
another shop change to sell sahara-x and pentagon...they still have 3M but only the highest rank one...the others are low rank tint but they give JPJ guarantee
other shop just sell ciplak no brand type

i personally just install richcool
so i can't comment of how good is it
but the tint that i installed, not bad...side ones IRR still got 90%
front is lesser since VLT have to be 70%
but definitely not priced like the one shown in your pic
i installed 70 on windscreen and 80 on the other
the boss charge me RM1k...supposed to be RM1.4k and RM1.2k after discount

if they say 1-2 hour walk away...just walk away
