Hotlink 365 can be requested via hotlink Customer Service.
I get it done by buying new Hotlink Red Sim card and fulfil following condition:

Requirement to get Hotlink 365 aka Bagus Plan:
1) Use at least 3 months
2) balance of credit RM50

If you fulfil all above, can make a call to hotlink customer care to request them to convert to Hotlink 365

Hi,
Mine is hotlink EM/EC plan. Is it possible to change to plan 365?
Just need to call to customer service to request for it?

My phone has my data off the whole time. If there is usage, it would not be just 10sen ba. GPRS is charging 10sen per 10kb, and my normal internet usage is not just 10kb. The response I get from Maxis is that the 10sen will continue even your phone data settings is off, because the settings is on 4G and you are in 4G coverage.

The option to prevent this charges is:
1. change settings to 3G
2. request to terminate data completely from Maxis.

Charging 10sen when data is off is not acceptable, and the method of changing from 4G to 3G to avoid this charges is not being given to customers (unless you kena charged kao kao and you call support to investigate).

yes, this is the cause of the problem and it only happens when you are on roaming.

option 1) is certainly working. I was constantly charged for that and now on 3G, no more such problem.

option 2) - have not tried this before. can maxis terminate data service completely? (they told u this?) if yes, it is good actually, maybe I will request to do so. it is silly to restrict to 3G network now.

Out of topic awhile.
Oh, just knew if we switched off data roaming and data cellular, will be still charged on 4G network.
Happened to me during my trip to China, was using Umobile that time.

As what Westlife has said, just change to 3G and you'll be fine.

I got charged a few times before, until an officer advised me to change to 3G (on top of turning off Data Roam) whenever I'm roaming. Did just that for my Hotlink and all other cards, and not been charged since. icon_rolleyes.gif

(Edit: (Thanks to Hashtag2016 for highlighting) The officer advised me "not to use 4G" while roaming so I switched to 3G. I was roaming in Singapore where there's no more 2G.)

May I ask which officer? through online or phone?
AFAIK, their officer reply is asking user using 2G . drool.gif

Sorry, my bad, it was "not to put to 4G while roaming" instead, and it's online.

I was roaming in Singapore where there's no 2G anymore, so I'll have to put it to 3G in order to keep the line active. blush.gif

Hi,

Kindly note that the Validity service is not applicable for Hotlink FAST. We're able to escalate a request to change your plan to Hotlink Bagus 3.0, however do note that this is subject to approval. Also, you will not be able to enjoy the free basic internet service under Hotlink 3.0

Should you wish to proceed, kindly provide us your details as per below for further checking.

1) mobile number
2) account owner's full name
3) NRIC
4) last topup amount
5) reason for subscribing the Validity service
TQ.

p/s - copy 1-5 when PM to us.

Is still available for changing plan?

Hi,
I'm interested in getting a prepaid plan but need a longer validity than 1 month, perhaps 6 months or 1 year. Interested in getting Hotlink as secondary line since I'm a Celcom postpaid user. Is there any plan with this criteria?
