hi, is that an android phone? most newer android phone have the ability to switch among mobile data and wifi, especially while the wifi signal is weak...
so, if r phone got this function, and u r very sure u already turned it off, then your issue is causing by hotlink , not ur phone. U can see the old post ,Hotlink had this issues for years, and they didn't put enough effort to solve it completely.. hmm.gif

p/s:From your attachment, at 22-02-19 00:16:00 there is a minus charge ! Is that mean hotlink was giving RM0.90 for using the GPRS data ( duration 16:20) , which is interesting.. confused.gif confused.gif

no need, your info is obsoleted .
Since they had rename the Hotlink365 to Validity365, and introduce Validity 90 , topup RM30 is not require..
but u still have spend money to buy the validity. For successful buying the validity , ur account need to have enough money left(after buying the validity, a few ringgit, not sure how much exactly..) .. .

However, when they asked, what about subsequent year for VALIDITY 365, there was not a clear answer.

Would you kindly advise, for below scenario ,

1st year: done change plan from new plan to Hotlink Hashtag and purchase VALIDITY 365 plan @ RM 60
-->  2nd year : what's the command to press from mobile and How Much credit deducted
--> 3rd year: WHAT NEXT if still want to repeat again VALIDITY 365 ?

hi, do u mean #hotlink ?
Don't believe them.. nowadays, those CS only try to con u or cheat u to change your existing plan to newer useless one.
If u change your plan, u cannot get your old plan back anymore.
The #hotlink that we knew about ,doesn't support validity365,..

U can simply ask them to disable the GPRS for your old plan, then u won't get GPRS charge anymore...
If they refuse to do so, u can simply complaint to mcmc/skmm .
as simple as that.. brows.gif


and of course, after disable gprs, your friends don't have mobile data anymore..(don't worry, u still can use the WIFI)
but, they don't have to change anything else or change the old habit..
and don't need other un-clear term-and-condition "suspiciuos" plan ...


In case they still need a mobile data after that, simply asking them to get a dual sim phone, and grab another sim card from other telco, just for that mobile data.
(Hotlink simply don't want your money from the mobile data, so they create alot of hassle to u. so u don't buy data from them, just buy mobile data from others telco.. )... icon_rolleyes.gif

p/s: in case u don't know, modern android phone had ability to switch to mobile data while Wi-Fi is weak(mostly under WIFI advanced option)..
u have to make sure it is DISABLED, or u got PPU charge .... If u don't want to disable the gprs completely from the holink old plan...

btw, even if u do everything right, u might still get the shocking charge ...their system has flaw,might charge u illegally, even u disable mobile data from the phone, every setting is correct, and use wifi only.
but, u can simply complaint to mcmc/skmm, and claim your money back, if u face this issue..
(the issue seem make a huge come back within the post pkpb era)...

Hotlink web pages have gone through numerous changes and updates but they never retain old info properly. Only latest plan is updated and valid. For ex:, FAST v1 initially was allowed validity365 but was removed in FAST v2 ... Digging through hotlink website won't get you very far when looking for actual #hotlink infos either ...There's also no mention of how *365# really works on the website ... That's why you're here ...

the Fast plan people was allow to changed to Bagus plan at that very moment.. (with CS doing at the back end, not by user themselves)
just like the one #HOTLINK we are talking about now.
but, the big different is, those Fast plan users was jumped into a existing plan with crystal clear term& condition. Hotlink did care about their reputation.
the #hotlink plan we are talking about is not, something shady is happening.. laugh.gif

btw, whatever they told u,as a consumer, u still have right to ask them disable it for your old old plan .. no technical issue after all..
and it is not fair for asking consumer to switch to another un-clear term&condition plan .
users can keep complaint those unfair treatment to skmm/mcmc until the problem been solved properly.

for other non-365 validty plan users, they got nothing to loose, memang no problem for that...

Nobody can guarantee that, they can change anything at anytime , I'm afraid.
eg: The old old hotlink validity365 (the old plan u had), it used to be stackable, we can topup RM100, and then buy validity365 with RM33 immediately,
and we get 100days+365days=465days validity in total. But they changed it about 2 years ago. No more stackable, the new validity start from the day u topup or buy the validity365

For the "Hotlink Internet 365" , I think overall it's ok, as long as u have no problem to change the way u use the h/p.
btw, some old validity 365 users may try to avoid it. especially the Hotlink Rewards lovers "who use Rewards Internet casually" ,HotlinkMu internet passes lovers , and the share-a-topup kaki.. devil.gif brows.gif

AFAIK,
Cons:
  • No active10 (cannot call to your favourite numbers in low call rate anymore).
  • Grace period only 30days !!! (sb may lose their phone numbers, if they didn't notice this change. especially who coming from the old old plan that had 90 days Grace Period)
  • Charge rate and charge block is increase. (which mean call out/sms shall be more expensive than before)
  • (covid19) By default, u cannot use Free 1GB Productivity Internet (that for covid19), u have to purchase any mobile Internet passes first (eg:2GB Internet/365days for RM6.00 => which is 2GB in total for 365days.) .
    Please be notice , u need to redempt the Free 1GB manually everyday by *100# or hotlink app, The term & condition of 1GB Productivity may change from time to time without further notice. .
  • 1GB Internet passes from Hotlink Reward is unavailable/abnormal.
  • Normal Internet passes from HotlinkMu is extreme slow/unuseable. U can buy it , but u cannot use it. (btw, not sure about so called : UltraSpeed & Hotspot passes)
  • Have to stay active to use the Internet passes. (For the old old plan ,we could use the internet pass in Grace period)
Pros:
  • By default, no internet, so no more PPU shocking charge (Some old plan users may switch to this plan just for this reason).
  • with any "real-money" topup , can get 90 active days . ( minimum topup is: RM5 each time.)
  • can buy the 365 days validity with RM30 (hotlink finally come out some goodies again.)
  • (covid19) There is 10GB/365days for only RM5.00 for "Jaringan Prihatin"

no both , hotlink only one plan one time . btw, it is an one way ticket.
U cannot go back to older plan(bagus plan) ,if u find u r not satisfy with the hotlink internet 365 plan.

btw, bagus plan got validity365 which only cost RM33 for 365 days validity.
u can buy it through *100#
u don't need to take internet 365 for 365 days validity.

*100# > 6 (MyAccount & others) > 3 (Buy Validity)

p/s: please be noticed: the validity is start from the day u buy it. eg:u still have 30 active days, u buy the 365 validity, u only got 365 activate days!! (In old days , we can get 30+365=395 days)

can confirm still exist too. tested on Bagus WM plan, can change directly from Bagus WM to Pantas Plan in the Hotlink App, I think is RM5 or RM2 was deducted, cannot remember.
At that time, the 365 days of Bagus WM was not expired, but it can still changing it anyway, and then got Pantas Plan and 30days active perod.
last time I check around National day 2025.

p/s: please be noticed , the GRACE PERIOD for Pantas Plan is 30days ONLY. (after 30days don't topup ,ur phone number GG!! ) ..
not like the good old BagusWM, it has 90days Grace period days.
