I am on hotlink 3.0. Can i switch to bagus?

yes, this is the cause of the problem and it only happens when you are on roaming.

option 1) is certainly working. I was constantly charged for that and now on 3G, no more such problem.

option 2) - have not tried this before. can maxis terminate data service completely? (they told u this?) if yes, it is good actually, maybe I will request to do so. it is silly to restrict to 3G network now.

yes, correct, so must switch to 3G, so even u are on roaming with data roaming off and cellular data off also will not kena charged.

I am on the bagus plan too. Haha.

Still on bagus plan Becos now overseas so no need any data. mainly just to keep the line active.

Next time go back bolehland time will switch to the rm35 unlimited plan.

I will switch after my current 365 validity expired on my bagus plan after March 2022.

Comparing both plans, bagus plan has zero reason to keep.

365 new plan has the following advantages which bagus has none at all.
1) cheaper 365 validity by rm3
2) no pay per use data, if no data pass purchased, no data cost will be incurred. This is totally good for elderly to use to prevent for unintended data usage
3) cheap data pass that lasts for up to 1 year
4) easy to keep the line active even no 365 validity purchase, rm5 top up can keep the line active for 60 days already.

Dun get it. What plan are u at currently? New 365 plan? And maxis removes the plan now?

If still have this one it is reasonable.

I think that they probably notice no one is paying even the rm30 to keep the line active for 365 days anymore becos they just simply top up rm5 every 60 days will do and this rm5 is not even burnt which it goes to the credit still.
Technically one can spend rm0 to keep the line active eventually becos all the rm5 spend is not really spend.

This defeats the purpose of the plan in the first place.


Hotlink 365 Plan

Scenario A
User 1 spent rm30 to keep 365 validity.
Damage: rm30 spent for one year

Scenario B
User 2 spend rm5 every 60 days
Damage: rm30 credit in the account after one year

New Pantas plan

Scenario A
User 1 spent rm30 to keep 365 validity.
Damage: rm30 spent for one year

Scenario B
User 2 spend rm10 every 30 days
Damage: rm120 credit in the account after one year

Rm30 is a one time charge to let ur account active for 365 days without top up. Of course no credit in account.

They sure need to be new prepaid or postpaid customer

Correct. by converting from unlimited plan to this Pantas u pay rm5 one time which can be deducted from ur balance too. then pay rm30 which u no need to constantly reloading to keep it activate.

Think no issue to switch, as long as they are the ‘current’ plans. Just need to pay rm5 each time. haha.
