Oh and forgot one thing, he said better buy a 2nd hand Jap car. Well a Myvi is basically a facelifted Passo. The technology is Japanese and most of the components are Jap as well. So rather than buying a 2nd hand Jap, why not buy a new Jap(Myvi)?

well, at least when i fetch my guai lou fren or some other giant friend with such compact car that time, they'll never said "ouch, my head" "ouch, my neck" "hey! my leg!"

But Perodua cars are mostly facelifted Jap cars... so Perodua owners are all Japanese car owners?

imo, myvi is generally smaller than wira, but it is indeed taller than wira hence it 'look' bigger

Don't be fooled by its size, the interior space is as good as Wira to be honest, quite spacious inside for a compact car.

Maybe we'll feel better if we keep telling ourself that MYVI is derived from Japanese technology.

Try compare the interior of the myvi and the wira and for sure the myvi roomy and spacious interior will make u speechless.

FC should be dependent on your right foot, not how high it revs.
But high revs quickens the wear and tear process.

I think no one had a major complaint abt the car so far. Even Top Gear had good comments abt it. To me I See t his car as a smaller Honda Jazz with Jap tech in it with a good price to boot. Lower spec than its Jap brother so to speak.

the problem i see is myvi is the car is over price ... for that kinda car minus the dumb tax .. i can see its much affordable

hi myvi owner.. take a measuring tape, measure the width <------> and the height of the car.. i've measured n wira has more width but common sense will tell u myvi is taller
nontheless, this mostly benifits those tall guy lah..

ha, i dont even bother measuring the width n height of both cars. I not that tall and i ok with seating in both the myvi and wira, but definery the myvi is more comfortable to seat at the back due to its spacious seat as the car is tall. Comfort is the key here.

even if u compare comfort, try to compare with new wira lah.. dont compare with those in old days 1.. coz those car seat/environment inside the car differ alot.. besides, myvi is squarish.. so generally more space compare to wira
but 1 thing for sure.. going more than 160km/h for myvi is crazy consider the high ground clearence, total height of the car, and aerodynamic..

Just saw the Top Gear Feb/March 2007 car buying guide edition. The verdict of the car is 'sniggering aside, the myvi isn't a bad effort by perodua. its fast, grippy and spacious. its just overpriced by £1k.' Price ranges from £7799 - £8499 for the car.Top speed rated is 106mph @_@ They only sell the sxi and ezi models. 0-62mhp is 11.3
