QUOTE(shirohamada @ Nov 29 2017, 04:31 PM) If buy riser better don't use the included power connecter extender/converter. Most are made from cheap sata connectors which is a fire hazard. Both my cables are like that, I just ended up connect it straight from my PSU and didn't use the cheap extender/converter. QUOTE(marfccy @ Nov 23 2017, 06:25 PM) many ppl dint seem to realize u need to have equivalent amount of ram to your vram for swapping.11gb card with 16gb ram.. thats suicidal. you gonna use alot of slow read/writes from pagefile on ssd/hdd. 32gb is now mainstream bro. 8700k is a beast at 4.7 to 5ghz at its seriously a much needed cpu for 1080/1080ti. Waited for ram prices to drop then increased instead 11gb card with 16gb ram.. thats suicidal. you gonna use alot of slow read/writes from pagefile on ssd/hdd. 32gb is now mainstream bro. 8700k is a beast at 4.7 to 5ghz at its seriously a much needed cpu for 1080/1080ti. Wanted 16GB for a long time, now I don't want to spend anymore money for ddr3 ram, but i can't swap to my ddr4 motherboard because my ddr3 board don't have 4 pcie slots for 4 pc gtx1060... |

You can read about it here. A lot of hardware reviewer uses 16GB RAM to test TitanX and GTX 1080Ti without problems.11gb card with 16gb ram.. thats suicidal. you gonna use alot of slow read/writes from pagefile on ssd/hdd. Thanks 2139/12356. gpu fan 100% but i run it 2088/11016 rad fans at 600rpm. temps max 52c. gpu fan default silent. y i dont oc vram. my experience on ocing gpu especially cutom pcb cards.. they first thing to die is always the memory controller. the gain from vram oc its too littld to justify. |

I agree, currently 8GB is mainstream, and 16GB if you got the budget. 32GB is for those people who do things while gaming or use their PC as workstation. |

i'm not sure, but i'm loving my Galax 1060 Exoc white than my 1080ti WB
tho WB > Air for temp. i think 1060 at around RM1.1k is a very good gpu for 1080p gaming. this thing fan is silent at 55% rpm with hitting <75C. average 70C on mining...lol |
