anyone here got the free upgrade yet ? whats the procedure after filling in the form ? do they need to call u first ? or send confirmation mail for you to reset router ?

The procedure is to wait.
Wait for them to alert you to power OFF and ON your BTU and router.

hi all want to ask, if i already have confirmation and order number for UNIFI installation, can i ask for the installer phone from TM? the reason is i want to call them first to confirm time because my working place sometime phone no line. scare when they call could not reach me.

TM will call you to confirm the appointment date due the next day is install date.

After called you to confirm, they will hang up call and send you SMS regarding install date & time, installer name and phone number.

I got a question regarding flats and condo/apartment

we know that condo/apartments are high tech they have those MDF/SDF rooms but how about flats . A 5 floor flat with no elevator , are those buildings equipped with such fiber equipment or are they stuck with streamyx forever ?

Searching via postcode on TM website shows that the area is covered by unifi but the building might be too old to support unifi right ? Is there such a thing ?

You have to check with the building management.
If they provide fiber cables to every floor, then you are in luck.
If not, then you negotiate or convince the building management to provide the fiber cabling.
