Acher C1200 is a improvement model of Archer C5 V2. Acher C1200 is use Broadcom BCM47189 @ 900 MHz chipset, 128 MB RAM and 16 MB flash, 3X3 antenna, and Archer C5 V2 is use Broadcom BCM47081A0 @800 MHz, 128 MB RAM and 16 MB flash, 2X2 antenna.

Just got C1200 yesterday from TM, after complaining weak Wifi upstairs from my old TRG212M. Not sure how much different from C5 v2, but I'm getting 50-200 Mbps downstairs & 10-30 Mbps upstairs. Should be OK for later Unifi upgrade to 50 Mbps biggrin.gif

i assume currently you are using 30Mbps ?
how to get 50-200 Mbps ?

must be the link speed between the client and router.not the UniFi speed itself.

Depends on the TM centre at your area. If they still have old stock of course they will give out all of the old stock first.

I called TM to replace my super old equipment (the while colored BTU, silver colored D-Link and the silver HyppTV) and I got the Archer C1200... brows.gif

I am currently using the 30mbps package and am currently awaiting the free 50mbps upgrade soon.

I am a gamer and I use Steam, so my question is, is getting a max download speed of 3mbps normal for my package?

Yes normal, I believe you're talking about 3 megabytes and not megabits.
