QUOTE(calvinlaw510 @ Feb 8 2017, 12:16 AM) Acher C1200 is a improvement model of Archer C5 V2. Acher C1200 is use Broadcom BCM47189 @ 900 MHz chipset, 128 MB RAM and 16 MB flash, 3X3 antenna, and Archer C5 V2 is use Broadcom BCM47081A0 @800 MHz, 128 MB RAM and 16 MB flash, 2X2 antenna. Just got C1200 yesterday from TM, after complaining weak Wifi upstairs from my old TRG212M. Not sure how much different from C5 v2, but I'm getting 50-200 Mbps downstairs & 10-30 Mbps upstairs. Should be OK for later Unifi upgrade to 50 Mbps

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Feb 9 2017, 02:28 PM) slow speed Internet, frequently random disconnect and reconnect, wifi reception bad, and other imaginable possibilities under the hood i use qos, and run ipv6(somehow everytime i use ipv6 speed slows down to 7mbps), and run speed test on that qos device and show them I said slow and unstable Wifi upstairs. They gave me Archer C1200.

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Feb 9 2017, 11:34 AM) Even with a high-end router, upstairs may only get 15mbps (phones) to 30mbps (notebooks). Powerline & another AP upstairs should be a good solution.

Real-life N speed is 40-50 mbps. AC can get over 100 mbps but hard to reach upstair.
To get over 30 mbps (phone) upstair, another AP/extender upstair is necessary. AP+powerline better as extender reduces bandwidth by half.
