100Mbps free upgrade?
If can get means you will be paying RM 209 for 100Mbps.

Advance 30mbps with jumbo pack +rm30=rm229

I didn't mention anything about being a norm. Just an example though. Earning 5K USD can live quite a comfortable life in US but earning RM 5K in Malaysia is just cukup-cukup makan.

My sister got her Unifi 30 recently. She got the TP Link AC1200. Asked myself whether that is better than my DLink 8500.

Saw a comparison on youtube (done by a Msian, maybe a LY member here?).

Disappointed to see DLink is the 3rd among Asus (1st) and TP Link.

Should I need to upgrade, I have better infor now. Ha.

If it's don't bother u ,low connection even though asking tm can't settle then it should upgrade.. a unifi router is quit expensive ..

Yeah, my sister will have her UniFi connection soon. A month later. Which TM router is the best so that she can request from installer? She will be on 30M and the agent who set up booth in her housing area assures her she will get 50M later.

Anyway, my sister is not particular because 30M is sufficient for her usage.

Guys, anybody has received their TM Surprise? I chose for Jumbo Pack upgrade for 12months. It says will start on Febuary, but till now still cannot watch the extra channels. Is this normal? Do I need to chase TM for this free upgrade??

You have no option to choose which TM router you want. Whatever TM give you you have to take.

of course u need to complain regarding the issue. if can make this issue big enough by hiring lawyer as well.

my issue with previous default firmware provided by TM is that every time i turned off BTU or router, IPV6 confirm is not connected (reboot twice to make it work)

FYI, PPPoE is not connected for the 1st boot up once u turned off BTU or router.

my configuration 2.4GHz channel 11 + 40 Mhz width 5GHz channel 48 + 80MHz

Nobody has received the surprise upgrade yet. Just be patient and wait.

eventhough we did not a speed upgrade
jumbo pack is like rm60 x 12 = rm720
and terminating astro be like rm 90 x 12 = rm1080
rm 1800 saving for a year

50Mbps user here but lately my torrent speed only maxed out at 3.9 only.seed is quite high though

FYI,torrent doesnt mean that im downloading pirated stuff.hehe

sometimes it depends on the seeder's speed. try download many files once, then you can judge the true speed.
