How does the free 1 month Unifi subscription works? Mine was installed on 1st January 2017 and today I got the 1st bill to pay before 24th February 2017. Unifi billing cycle starts every 24th of the month?
In the bill it shows 2 months Unifi fee but it's not even 1 month yet. So where is the 1 month free for the subscription? Or is it the 1st month is the downpayment?

I did apply thru online via the official tm website. From what I see in the bill, the charges is for 2 months and then minus 1 month but it's not even 1 month yet. My understanding is that I'll only start paying in February. Or is it that I got it all wrong?

QUOTE(westlife @ Jan 29 2017, 12:12 AM) lol, it is still prepaid after all... you have to understand prepaid means pay upfront before use, postpaid is billed according to usage.. Streamyx & Unifi is pay upfront before use just like mobile telco postpaid, we only get billed according to usage... i never pay upfront to my postpaid mobile lol This post has been edited by vez: Jan 29 2017, 12:58 AM

Yes, you're billed upfront but even if you delaying the payment, you still got the service.

if tm cant upgrade the speed due to infrastructure "limitation", better half our monthly fees while maintaining the speed then.

they dont want to reduce price for your information, they want to maintain the ARP. got news there will be higher speed than 100Mbps. but i still take it like pinch of salt. who nows they will announce it in march like they did with unifi pro last year.

Still it is very unfair those paying Unifi Pro 50 are upgraded free for Pro 100 speed.

Getting Started

|
Hi sifus here,
Just subscribed to unifi 30Mbps. Noticed when using Speedtest is 30Mbps. But when downloading files/games, maximum speed only around 3Mbps. Anyone knows why is it like this?
