Anybody heard of staingate issue for MBP retina ? My friend has a unit badly stained on the coating of the screen itself ? Do you think they will honor the warranty ?

I’m only getting around 6 hours of battery life for my late 2016 mbp 13 with touchbar on moderate use. Been using it for 3 weeks now. Bought brand new from All IT as it was on discount. On papers stated up to 10 hours of battery life. I only use it mostly lite browsing and php development. Battery status shows normal. Battery cycle is only 11. Brightness is only half Bluetooth is ofg and only on wifi.

Sounds normal though. Mine is nonTB edition and i get more or less same hours of life. Some pdf readings, excel + spotify and dropbox syncing all the time in background.

yes. i got this issue before with my 15" rMBP mid 2014. u can change the screen for free at any AASP. part of the staingate programme

How many megapixel webcam use on macbook pro ?

I found it was poor quality webcam. When I use skype video chat between macbookpro and redmi note, the skype videpo screen appear in the phone was small / not full screen. Is it normal ?

hmm.. would like to check with you guys, after using High Sierra, do you feel the temperature is higher compare to Sierra?

Applecare is not something I buy often, maybe 3 in the last 8 years. They always seem to be in stock. There are ways to check so you don't have to waste a trip to the shop.

i din manage to upgrade to High sierra.
downloaded and the upgrade stuck at arond 80%, for like over night.

at the end gotto do recovery.. and just realized my last back up was 3 months + ago.

so for now din bother to upgrade as yet.

not really.... I notice when use Safari the processor is higher... only in safari rest my processor is at 48-55c (Macbook / Passive cooling / No Fan)

Usually Apple Recall only cover up to 3 years...but you can try

I called when i did mine and they didn't have it. Mine's warranty on on last day of expiration.

Hi all. If i claim warranty for the monitor of my mbp, can i stil buy applecare plan? My mbp still within warranty period until april 2018.

Or i should buy applecare first, then only send for warranty claim

Walaowey. Same case lah. Sent mine for diagnostic and now waiting for lcd to arrive. Planned to get apple care end of this year but i also dunno if still eligible after send repair. Will ask them tomorrow when i go send mine in for the replacement.

Lolz. Mine auto close at 50 degree angle like that. Where u sent for service?
