Guys, I'm interested to try Digi EDGE. But how's the billing? Let say I subscribe on the 20th of July. Will I be billed for the 10 day I use in July or I will be billed on the 20th of August for the whole month usage?

I just want to try it first and see if it suitable for me or not. Anyone have any idea? And how do I subscribe actually?

Just subscribed to the Data Unlimited Plan. Connected my phone as a modem.

For web surfing, its pretty slow. It takes a few seconds to start receiving data. But for download using IDM with simultaneous connections, its pretty decent. I get 20K/s average.

DiGi still using 2.5G (edge/gprs) technology, can't expect their speed go that far as their latency is quite high always. Good part is digi connection is much stable than others smile.gif

Yesterday experience extremely slow & unstable connection!!!

I'm using HUAWEI E220 at USJ 1. Yesterday night get connected already but stuck in limited connection (using Vista). Even if able to get connected to internet get constant timeout when ping to google.com.

Is there any one facing this problem too?
i think i face this problem since last friday.

is not 24 hours, im afraid it'll burn my pon... sometimes my speed can go 100MB at 1 hour... rclxms.gif
and i tell u, u have to use rapidshare premium as this give consistent speed compare torrent or non premium rapidshare... also IDM need to set 2 download at one time so if one finish, other can continue with full speed..
I can say 800 MB taken around 8~9 hours... (average 27kB/s) tongue.gif
and like i said before, my w810i can't handle full download... battery draining very fast and i assume can hold around 4 hours.. so im using w960i charger which usb can attach to it so i got charger and usb at same time.. thats y i can download more than 4 hours... biggrin.gif

still.... coverage and total user were main culprit here when giving good speed to us.. sometime my speed also drop but still acceptable level as this is wireless.. mean got many weakness... but total download still satisfy me as a customer... notworthy.gif DIGI

i suppose that is the HUAWEI problem that cut offline when no activity..
coz i found that if it's cut off, try to keep ping some website...u'll get the connection back. but u will need to ping several time (6-7 time with unable to reach host). So normally i'll constantly ping some website to make sure the connection not cut off.

Hope DIGI will have their 3G very sooon.

Hmm,
i guess Digi Edge doens't work well with my AT&T Sierra Wireless AirCard 875U then.

Well,i have tried DIgi Edge twice and cancel finally this month.

For me Surfing is ok but cannot stand the latency....
once a while,u will see no activity...wait wait wait....then ok back....then no activity...

FOr download,
mine average 25KBps also but fluctuate madly....

COuld it be the modem or my area coverage is pretty lousy..
GOod thing though,,
it does work at my hometown,sitiawan...

But i could not stand the 25KBps max download after experience on Celcom 384kbps(48KBps) data plan
And the speed is great....donwload consisitently 384kps...
UNTIL......
they cap me to 80kbps/10Kbps(5 GB thingy)....Arggg....damn slow....time out freqently...

Digi Edge no capping from what i heard..
