given up on Digi Edge for now
this is my second time i cancel Digi Edge..... can't really bear the latency although the speed is ok Still love my Celcom D68 until they cap me!! Cancel Celcom D68 as well So now...i am on U-Mobile... so far soooo good...  |

nope.
i register the d38 postpaid,,,come free two month data. it work if i find it is ok....then i might go for D58 data package promotion until end dec 2008...then it is d68 onwards by that time...hopefully digi 3g is up and running download not bad...tested today almost 300Kbps as compared to Celcom d68 at 40KBPs...almost at my 5GB so call fair usage policy well..if i am not mistaken...even i am cap...it will be cap at 40KBps from 300KBps..which is good as Celcom D68 cap it to 10Kbps from 40KBps.. get the Sierra Wireless AirCard 875U......everything automatic detection...
really plug and play.. i have tried it with Celcom,Digi and U-Mobile....not need to set,automatic detect.. just select the ISp,then surf liao.. My experience with Digi Edge, For Digi ...u need to connect many time to get a stable ip....although the signal show max bar But the only gripe i hate about Digi Edge is the latency issue....where the connection if idle for few sec...seem like cannot surf.. try downloading...u will see the speed occasionally dc for a while then ok,then dc,then ok... |

nothing to do with Huawei modem or any modem.
it is the way Digi Edge work......ok..ok...ok...loss pin for a while...ok..ok try to download..u will see the same result i had web refresher on... Hmm,
i guess Digi Edge doens't work well with my AT&T Sierra Wireless AirCard 875U then. Well,i have tried DIgi Edge twice and cancel finally this month. For me Surfing is ok but cannot stand the latency.... once a while,u will see no activity...wait wait wait....then ok back....then no activity... FOr download, mine average 25KBps also but fluctuate madly.... COuld it be the modem or my area coverage is pretty lousy.. GOod thing though,, it does work at my hometown,sitiawan... But i could not stand the 25KBps max download after experience on Celcom 384kbps(48KBps) data plan And the speed is great....donwload consisitently 384kps... UNTIL...... they cap me to 80kbps/10Kbps(5 GB thingy)....Arggg....damn slow....time out freqently... Digi Edge no capping from what i heard.. Wah good new...no cap yet for U Mobile..
even they cap...i heard,it is from 3.6Mbps to 384kbps(anyone can verify this?) if it tru...it is much better than Celcom... imagine paying D68 SiaCom after 5gb thingy...cap from 384kbps to 80 kbps....i kena i know...damn how to download and surf.. U Mobile only u pay D58 now,,,even cap still surfable and downloadable at 384kbps.. for now,U Mobile rocks From 15 July until today, i have managed to download 38.68GB.

Edge long time i give up liao...stable...no capping.....but slow mah.
Siacom also i give up as they cap me badly... Now on U mobile.....much better although lately it show some similar symptom like Siowcom. anyway,i ported my SiowCom prepaid number to Digi already... once got Digi show 3G......will go happy hour...hehehe |

ok i am a EX-Celcom user as well. In Sitiawan...no problem of getting 3G signal surfing ok lah... As for Digi....think still tarak Edge Signal.
