yup i can say that ...
but not 24 hours as my battery flat before 24hours.. hehehhee
but what i can see from my download... its vary from 20~29kB/s...
if u use download manager... its better 24~30kB/s...
im quite happy with this speed...
however pages uploading slow due to high latency..

p/s: sorry not posting my current speed due im downloading large file using rapidshare rite now... heheheheh..
now i feel that my download very slow although my average download now around 26kB/s cause when using streamyx it can reach 60kB/s (512kbps)...

yeah, i also think like u.. and its true if u r browsing only.. but if download 24hours, my battery draining fast
i think its because when browsing only, data transfer at acceptable level.. however for downloading, we use at max speed..

blink.gif ic...mean the packets in/out for heavy download require higher than 500mA(thats SE USB power consumption)

nope.
i register the d38 postpaid,,,come free two month data.
it work

if i find it is ok....then i might go for D58 data package promotion until end dec 2008...then it is d68 onwards
by that time...hopefully digi 3g is up and running

download not bad...tested today almost 300Kbps as compared to Celcom d68 at 40KBPs...almost at my 5GB so call fair usage policy

well..if i am not mistaken...even i am cap...it will be cap at 40KBps from 300KBps..which is good as Celcom D68 cap it to 10Kbps from 40KBps..

Ii juz get my modem. At 1st i'm choose to get ZTE MF622. But unfortunately, it cannot work with my DiGi EDGE. I have no idea what is going on.

End up i called the seller to help me. There is no problem with the modem coz it's work wit celcom broadband. so i'm wondering izit the setting problem. But the seller is nice to change me e HUAWEI E220, coz i tried that modem wit my DIGi, it work.

So now i'm using HUAWEI E220 now. quite satisfy with the speed. However, i found a small problem where when i left the connection idle for few second, even it didn't DC but i won't able to surf anymore. is anyone having this prob?

get the Sierra Wireless AirCard 875U......everything automatic detection...
really plug and play..
i have tried it with Celcom,Digi and U-Mobile....not need to set, automatic detect..

just select the ISp,then surf liao..

My experience with Digi Edge,

For Digi ...u need to connect many time to get a stable ip....although the signal show max bar
But the only gripe i hate about Digi Edge is the latency issue....where the connection if idle for few sec...seem like cannot surf..

try downloading...u will see the speed occasionally dc for a while then ok,then dc,then ok...

Guys, I'm interested to try Digi EDGE. But how's the billing? Let say I subscribe on the 20th of July. Will I be billed for the 10 day I use in July or I will be billed on the 20th of August for the whole month usage?

I just want to try it first and see if it suitable for me or not. Anyone have any idea? And how do I subscribe actually?

It's proactive which means they will charge on the 10 days only. So it will me 66/30*10.

Ok. Can I subscribe to this plan without being postpaid user? If not I have to look into other option. Whoever is with Digi or have knowledge about this can PM me. Wanna ask more in details. Easier with PM.

You have to be postpaid user to enjoy the RM66 / month package.

Alternatively, you can opt to stay with digi prepaid that charges you RM6/day (fuyoh plan) and capped at RM149 / month.

If you are a university student, you can opt for the RM30 / month package.

soul2soul,
are u sure there is university student package?never heard before.if true, RM30 is so cheap rclxms.gif

z3171600,
u have to be postpaid user but u can subscribe to data plan only which is RM66 only plus 5% tax.it doesn't matter when u register coz u will be charged based on the day u used only for the first bill.and fyi, u can choose the date of billing..there are 3 dates u can choose..mine is every 23rd..cannot remember the other 2 dates..if u want 2 subscribe, juz go to digi centre...forgot to tell u, for data plan only, there will be no bills..only e-bills which u can check in DiGi OCS website...hope i answer u biggrin.gif
