Hi, i would like to know is anyone use DiGi EDGE to BT. How fast can it be? Do i need to configure anything?

BT is not BLUE TOOTH. what i means here is BitTorrent download.

how come my torrent speed not stable? always get around 5kb/s oni. max i can get around 22kb/s but only sometime. what is the problem? i'm using nokia 2630 as modem, the signal is full bar. i wonder y i always get 5kb/s only . izit because i use 2630 as modem or that is the normal speed to in torrent using EDGE

OMG...how come my EDGE speed is so slow?
ran a speed test it just 80kbps.
then i run BT it just dling at 1-2kbps.

can i know wat app u all use to torrent?

ya, i'm using a cheapo nokia 2630 as modem and connect it to comp using a vr old bluetooth. Will this slow down my connection speed?

U own a MF622? may i know how's the device perform? coz i'm going to buy a usb modem to use wit edge soon. decided to get mf622 instead of huawei e220. Besides this 2 is there any other usb modem within rm450 that i can choose?

Ii juz get my modem. At 1st i'm choose to get ZTE MF622. But unfortunately, it cannot work with my DiGi EDGE. I have no idea what is going on.

End up i called the seller to help me. There is no problem with the modem coz it's work wit celcom broadband. so i'm wondering izit the setting problem. But the seller is nice to change me e HUAWEI E220, coz i tried that modem wit my DIGi, it work.

So now i'm using HUAWEI E220 now. quite satisfy with the speed. However, i found a small problem where when i left the connection idle for few second, even it didn't DC but i won't able to surf anymore. is anyone having this prob?

Yesterday experience extremely slow & unstable connection!!!

I'm using HUAWEI E220 at USJ 1. Yesterday night get connected already but stuck in limited connection (using Vista). Even if able to get connected to internet get constant timeout when ping to google.com.

Is there any one facing this problem too?
i think i face this problem since last friday.

i suppose that is the HUAWEI problem that cut offline when no activity..
coz i found that if it's cut off, try to keep ping some website...u'll get the connection back. but u will need to ping several time (6-7 time with unable to reach host). So normally i'll constantly ping some website to make sure the connection not cut off.

Hope DIGI will have their 3G very sooon.

btw when dling i dun think it will cut off.

today i tried stayed connect with digi EDGE and downloading stuff for almost 9 hour without cutoff or disconnect. It's quite smooth it stay average above 25KBps.

Yaya, cannot really bear with EDGE's speed. Especially during night i get a poor speed which is <15KBps.

For Umobile i heard they not yet implement the fair usage policy currently, but they will do that afterward.

I mainly dowload TVB DRAMA and some english movie. I know there is lots of source for movie in rapidshare. but do u have any source of TVB DRAMA in rapidshare? mind to share ar? PM me..hehehe...if u got then i might get an account.

I'm in USJ area. i try use my phone manual search function i'm able to get DIGI 3G signal. Maybe they are testing it now. But when i select it, i cannot use it.

hahaha....true true. I'm using "surf with u" now. But the connection speed at night is really pooor. I always get very slow speed from both DIGI n UMOBILE during night time. Haih...it must be connection congested.

Added on July 26, 2008, 11:00 amI just terminate my EDGE at DIGI CENTER. I ask the stuff there, they said DIG will roll out their 3G either end of this month or august. Anticipating their 3G. Will try their 3G when they roll out. Now no choice but have to use Umobile 1st.
