Guys seriously you believe in this petition or change org whatsoever?

If you are real in objection or bantahan, write in formal letter, gather significant numbers of signature and present your case to the land office... Those online petition is for fun only, at least in the context of malaysia.

While you are gathering signature, go figure out the decision maker/authority in person on this project.. Else you just wait for the project to complete with x number of petitions done online.

Don't bother to see this
Already 2 years in to construction....the underground car park is yet to be build up... .I live nearby....everyday I take the train.....the digging is still on I think.....no evidence of the foundation or even the concrete columns for the condo yet....JULY 2019 now

Feel the same too, just passed by just now, still nothing much, when is this project expect to be completed?

I spoke to an MCA guy and according to him, buildings approval made for this area aren't made in accordance to the regulation. Plot ratio set by the local government wasn't observed and buildings continue to be built just because of political sponsor.

We can choose to believe or not to believe. However, using our bare eyes, I think it's easy to tell that this area is heavily congested.

I did a rough estimate, it could be wrong and not accurate but within 484 acres of land, we have over 6500 residential units, not taking into account the offices and commercial lots that commands crowd and vehicles. We have to include the nearby PPR lembah subang 2 that alone has over 1500 units and this is just 1.4km away from Citta Mall.

Not to mention another low cost flat near the train depot, which is approximately 700meter from Citta Mall.

Mizu/H20 isn't very far away either with 1300 units plus at 1.4km also from Citta mall distance. All the condominium nearby are not fully occupied yet. In fact, I am not even sure if they are 70% occupied.

But once they get fully occupied ( if ever ), the place will be a nightmare to live in, property price will be dragged down. I have decided not to invest in this area. I don't foresee any good coming out of it.

The MCA guy said that he is going to propose into the local government on this congestion and if the people can support, it would pressure them more.

But of course in Malaysia, the question is always.....how many ppl will proactively come, gather and say....let's do it.

Any takers?

MCA still in picture?? LOL.

Anyway almost all matured areas of Klang Valley is congested. There are even more developments along Old Klang Road; Bukit Jalil,Kuchai Lama,Jalan Puchong Vicinities. You going to stop those areas building as well?

unless you stay very outskirts and work in outskirts. Otherwise jam is inevitable.

I am staying in Sec 17 PJ. I see traffic and population increasing as days passes by. But it makes the areas continue to be vibrant. Better than old deserted dead towns.

The size is about dpc.

Did you compare what density is dpc when everything is built up?

Ara damansara and lembah subang congestion is not that nad lah....the road has hardly any vehicles except peak hours..

I think instead of barking on the wrong trees politicians and local authority should work on the bottle neck of old subang airport road.....and attitude of drivers zip zaping from right to left and lefr to right.

And also improve the other exit outside tropicana golf club.....another real bottleneck there.

The thing is when the group went and see the departmental head for the said discussion, their logic was :

Semasa kita kemukakan bantahan untuk projek masjid ini, cuma berbelasan orang yg tak sokong tetapi beratusan orang sokong. Can you imagine if we have a factual data to show berpuluh ribu orang bantah whilst he claimed beratusan sokong. What else could he say in retaliation?

This petition could provide a debate fact if they were to use such point again. No single act could change this. But a collective action combined. You will realise eventually with the government department that even if you speak to the person in authority without supporting documents, he would politically tell you that he can't do much because it you alone who are asking for it and you can't show that it's majority who didn't want it. Before looking for person in charge, prepare ammo. You go empty handed, you're sure to waste time.

You have to understand the direction of debate of civil servant. You cannot tell them only to improve the roads. At the same time, it would be a bit shallow if we only talk about the traffic today and tomorrow without thinking how it would be in the next 5 years. Or should we only talk about it after 5 years when everything is built and done then wait for them to say : apa saya boleh buat? Sudah bina, dulu u orang tak protest pun? Jadi kita pun rasa you orang ok la.

Don't think I am assuming. I am speaking based on what we were told during their meetings. Those were their exact words. That when it was proposed many years back, which came first and which came last, no one objected so they assumed everyone is happy...then they kept building and again no one object.

THe direction of debate with civil servant is simple, you solve our problem first before building anything new. If the traffic is already bad, building more buildings will not make the roads better. You want to build more, show us how the roads will be made better first. That is all part of town planning. Any building made need to take consideration into green lung, empty lands, parkings. It is not about how one person feels it makes the place more " meriah " or not. But they have laws and rules for development order to be granted and the point is these laws aren't observed.

Using the same justification, every politician is already corrupted, so it's fine PKR continues it anyways since its inevitable so we should not make noise about it.

Of course MCA is still in the picture. Why not? These are all political parties. DAP wasn't strong for the past god knows how many year before during Mahathir era as well. Didn't mean they disappear. And today they formed the government.

The mechanism of politics is that, we should always make use of opposition party to get to what the society need if the ruling government do not want to do it for you and the opposition would be more willing to fight because they want their seat back. So why not have a symbiotic relationship all over?
