You already have the answer as you tested it yourself. Maybe 502153 support 3g and I'm wrong before. But for sure 50211 only supprt LTE.

It depends on your setup and use. By using phone as modem/router, the battery will not last longer, or maybe you need to always on ac adapter to phone. This also considered as portable, can move anywhere. This is ok if signal in your area is good (below) - 85dbi

But if signal over - 110dbi, you need to use a modem that support external antenna for better performance. And it will cost you hundreds to setup.

Is there any downside to this plan? I heard the data cannot be tethered.

I am using Celcom RM80 now, unlimited calls & sms, with 10GB data.

Not sure if i should switch or not.

U mobile denied my MNP because not active while the line is still active but with RM0 credit.. Still got validity more than 2 weeks. Force to topup to continue.

But the plus side for this is that u can have several downline with the same benefits.. With a cheaper rate..

For long terms its good as when you have kids, u can add them in the downline..

I don't think u can use your unlimited call, sms & data simcard in a dongle to use internet.

That one u need to purchase another plan. Specifically for broadband usage.
