If anyone wants to subscribe to webe, make sure your minimum data usage is 100Gb. If below than that, it's better to choose another telco.
Now, many telco offer 1Gb for RM3 for daily plan. My calculation example as below. You pay webe RM84 for unlimited data. With this price you got 28Gb with maxis and celcom daily plan RM3 = 1Gb If you are burung hantu type, with RM84 you got 120Gb as RM7 for 10Gb. (promotion time RM7=20Gb) With other telco, you don't get speed capped, so it will save your download time also no tethering restriction. If you only use 5-20Gb monthly, stay away from webe. Don't get frustrated with problems. |

Just wonder if webe started capping users already. Used 100GB in uploads alone as I was backing up to my online drive. Now getting 128kbp/s from 8am to 1am. Normal speed only for 7 hours per day.
Talked with webe staff, was told no such throttling. Could be local network congestion due to CNY. Any one else having the same problem? |

QUOTE(fat16 @ Feb 1 2017, 10:10 AM) Bro mayang, your calculator is broken. You are right. My opinion just to express that other telco also can give cheap data per/Gb. Examples : RM7=10Gb burung hantu or YouTube weekly from celcom. That mean 70sen per/Gb. Nowadays standard cost per/Gb in Malaysia is RM3. Actually celcom can give retail price RM1 per/Gb but it not implemented, just on promotion days.burung hantu @ internet awal pagi canot used during normal hours. Back to webe, we pay RM84 monthly and apply to the cost of RM1 per/Gb, we got 84Gb. This is my reason if anyone use below than 100Gb per month with webe, better to choose another telco. This opinion only valid for users with heavy data usage per month and use webe as for internet data only. Not for someone with heavy calls. Just talk, no serious. |

Total RM14 for 40GB of data in 2 WEEKS!!! 80GB data for one month. For just RM28 more you get 80GB data with IBH!!! First Gold Plus kalah already. IBH beat RM115-RM28=RM87 You save RM87 in 1 MONTH!!! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by Anime in HD: Feb 1 2017, 01:38 PM |

When webe promo RM59 = 10Gb + free 20Gb end this 28th Feb, it will become more expensive than celcom RM50 = 10Gb monthly. You save RM9 on Celcom for 10Gb plan. Time to say goodbye to webe. |

I still think WeBe is a good deal despite paying for hotspot tethering charges.
As long your daily routine where you stay, work, lepak have reasonable surfable experience... I think it will. Be ok. You don't have to chase to use data just because you have bought the data that only come with 1 day validity. Take example, DiGi Pokemon data plan where rm1 for 300mb daily.. It is either you use finish within one day period or forfeit data balance if you forget to do so. Rm30 for 9GB monthly. The key is must be able to utilize 300mb daily. And we need to have dedication to do that. So since we paying RM78 monthly for webe. If we can use more that 23GB, then having WeBe good value for money. If webe is stable in your area, and you don't want to worry about the internet quota, then Webe is a good choice for you. Coz u can watch YouTube or stream whatever you want..
But in my case, I terminated it last month. Coz quite unstable in my house. Sometime need to watch YouTube with 360p quality. |
