Hi guys, I saw the webe promo going on. So did some reading here. Basically here are few that I may concern with.
1) Unable to tethering / hotspot? 2) A lot of user in your same area will congest network thus reduce speed even below 5mbps? 3) Network not stable, may random drop? 4) tac code etc delayed? 5) Hvnt read about this, anyone facing call drop etc? 6) Coverage at city or town area won't be a problem, how about rural area? Unlimited data is not my concern as my average usage a month avragely around 5GB. What attracted me is the free call. After read few page, 50-50 deciding to go with webe or not. |

If only use 5GB better go for umobile or digi which has unlimited call for this price range.1) Unable to tethering / hotspot? 2) A lot of user in your same area will congest network thus reduce speed even below 5mbps? 3) Network not stable, may random drop? 4) tac code etc delayed? 5) Hvnt read about this, anyone facing call drop etc? 6) Coverage at city or town area won't be a problem, how about rural area? If your usage below 5gb better go for other alternative. Not worth to go webe If you are not into unlimited usage.1) Unable to tethering / hotspot? 2) A lot of user in your same area will congest network thus reduce speed even below 5mbps? 3) Network not stable, may random drop? 4) tac code etc delayed? 5) Hvnt read about this, anyone facing call drop etc? 6) Coverage at city or town area won't be a problem, how about rural area? Webe have limited video streaming speed so on normal usage your video might buffer alot. Free call other telco also got like umobile rm70 unlimited calls, 15gb data + 7 GB video and unlimited music streaming |

Yes but for mobile only not broadband package.1) Unable to tethering / hotspot? 2) A lot of user in your same area will congest network thus reduce speed even below 5mbps? 3) Network not stable, may random drop? 4) tac code etc delayed? 5) Hvnt read about this, anyone facing call drop etc? 6) Coverage at city or town area won't be a problem, how about rural area? Speedrate like roller coaster. 4. You need to contact the CS to fix any TAC problem. They still didn't solve SMS authentication problem with ArenaNet for Guildwars 2 for me though. 5. Never experience any call drop. 6. 4G is very limited but for 3G should have no problem since they use Celcom 3G network. Average around 5GB then Webe is not for you, better go with Celcom 80, much stable speed and low latency at least in my case. |

QUOTE(MorningBoyz @ Jan 31 2017, 09:49 AM) Hi guys, I saw the webe promo going on. So did some reading here. Basically here are few that I may concern with. Replied in bold, if you're unsure which telco to go with your current usage, here.. I've compiled a simplified list for users to compare.1) Unable to tethering / hotspot? No, tether costs rm6.36(gst included), need reed TOS 2) A lot of user in your same area will congest network thus reduce speed even below 5mbps? Yes, webe using smaller 5Mhz bandwidth, compared with other telco on 10Mhz...also band 5 seems have shorter range 3) Network not stable, may random drop? Depends on area 4) tac code etc delayed? If you MNP, you might have receiving tac sms, just live chat CS..it fixes most TAC problem, but I'm still having problem with my PSN TAC sms, they didn't fixed it yet.. 5) Hvnt read about this, anyone facing call drop etc? None so far 6) Coverage at city or town area won't be a problem, how about rural area? If you're out of webe 4g coverage, it will switch to celcom 3G network Unlimited data is not my concern as my average usage a month avragely around 5GB. What attracted me is the free call. 5GB and lower? You might want to use other telco such as DiGi which provide attractive package... After read few page, 50-50 deciding to go with webe or not. You can share it with your friends, as long credit back to me. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U-q...dit?usp=sharing This post has been edited by GameSky: Jan 31 2017, 11:28 AM |
